Our first time in Tagaytay, I booked this hotel through a Deal Grocer coupon. As we drove into the town, I discovered why our local friends recommended the trip; it's a really great getaway from the city, with clean air, cooler temps and an overall relaxed atmosphere. You definitely hit traffic, but it's all reminiscent of driving into a ski... More

The Theodore Hotel is officially my favorite hotel/BnB in Tagaytay. I've tried out quite a lot of hotels in Tagaytay including the overrated one right beside it. From the very quick responses to my inquiries, a breezy 2-minute check in, spotless and above average-sized rooms, their hearty breakfast options and most especially their very warm and attentive staff - this... Stayed at the Theodore Suite last weekend. It was just unfortunate that there was something wrong with the sewage system - water wouldn't drain at all so the bathroom was entirely flooded. And it reeked of sewage too. The staff tried their best to fix it, but they couldn't do much. Other than that, it would've been an enjoyable stay.... More

It was my first time to stay in a boutique hotel. And true to their vision, the services you ask from them can be customized according to our specifications. The staff was very helpful starting from the unloading of our bags from the car up to the time they're being hospitable by asking us if we want some water while... More

Loved the overall look and feel of this hotel. We stayed at the Cherry Blossom Room and we enjoyed it! We got a discount for checking in late, but had I known Theodore hotel would be such a relaxing place, I would've checked in earlier! Will definitely visit this hotel again.

We stayed at Theodore for Christmas. It was a great feeling because the hotel had some free flowing coffee, cheese, ham , pandesal at the lobby. They also serve hot chocolate. The rooms are clean and big for a boutique hotel. The staff are all friendly and happy ( probably because it's Christmas). There is just one problem . The... More

Stayed here as a family with nannies in tow. What to love: 1.not crowded, only 10 rooms and no tourists 2.beautiful garden with a magnificent view of taal lake 3.painless check in 4.great staff 5.yummy breakfast 6.free massage and facial :) Not great at all: 1.very pricey rooms with no windows, claustrophobic level-this was the real deal breaker for me.... Never judge this hotel from outside or you'll end up eating your words. It’s our first time to stay here at Theodore Hotel. I brought my balikbayan relatives who were mostly senior citizens. I must say, we were very impressed. Starting from the lobby décor, the room décor and the garden view, you definitely get your money’s worth. I used... More

Spent the night at Theo. First room Internet not working so they moved us. Rooms funky and interesting. Service excellent but only 10 rooms so the Hotel is little more than a rich mans toy. Even with high occupancy there is little chance they can do more then cover their overhead. Room included breakfast which we took in the garden... More
