Stayed here as a family with nannies in tow. What to love: 1.not crowded, only 10 rooms and no tourists 2.beautiful garden with a magnificent view of taal lake 3.painless check in 4.great staff 5.yummy breakfast 6.free massage and facial :) Not great at all: 1.very pricey rooms with no windows, claustrophobic level-this was the real deal breaker for me.... Never judge this hotel from outside or you'll end up eating your words. It’s our first time to stay here at Theodore Hotel. I brought my balikbayan relatives who were mostly senior citizens. I must say, we were very impressed. Starting from the lobby décor, the room décor and the garden view, you definitely get your money’s worth. I used... More

Spent the night at Theo. First room Internet not working so they moved us. Rooms funky and interesting. Service excellent but only 10 rooms so the Hotel is little more than a rich mans toy. Even with high occupancy there is little chance they can do more then cover their overhead. Room included breakfast which we took in the garden... More

Awesome rooms, lovely interior, friendly and very accommodating staff! Free massage at their spa ready to avail anytime from 10AM in the morning onwards or 6-8PM in the evening. You can opt to have your breakfast at the restaurant, cottages in the garden or in your very own room. Their location is right next to the lovely Pamana Restaurant and... More

This hotel was a nice relaxing place to rest in a busy town. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The décor was modern and looked good. The view was very nice from the garden and you can even ask to have your breakfast served in the seats outside if you want. Breakfast was delicious. It would be great if they... More

Stumbled upon Theodore's in the middle of the night. We decided to escape the Manila summer heat and drove to Tagaytay at about 1am. All other hotels were booked as it was the weekend. Luckily, The Theodore Hotel had a free room. The rooms are uniquely decorated. Cozy and modern. Pretty clean. The room came with free breakfast and a... More

It was an abrupt decision to book here as our plan to have our getaway in Ilocos didn't pushed through. So when we found a promo via ensogo we instantly clicked buy as I have been wanting to see the themed rooms in this hotel. The staff are all friendly and accommodating especially when we booked this just night before... More

We usually stay at Taal Vista but we decided to give this boutique hotel a try. There were only a few rooms & you pay premium for bigger rooms with a lake view. The breakfast wasn't anything special, you choose ala carte from the menu and dining area felt so misplaced from the whole feel of the place. This place... More

A small but intimate boutique hotel. Staff are friendly, food is good (good choices for breakfast), rooms are clean and well thought of. Very near the commercial area of Tagaytay. It also offers a good view of the Taal Volcano. Value for money!

I have mixed emotions about this hotel. I loved its artsy, intimate vibe and well appointed view rooms (be warned that not all rooms are as advertised) but I railed at the short sighted, and can I assume greedy, need to ruin a lovely experience with a nitpicky rule and a petty charge. I booked a "superior room" online only... More
