It's not good but it ain't super bad either. It's kinda like a back-packers safe haven. Location: Far out heading to Batangas already. So if you have a wedding to attend to near Chapel by the Hill or an event in Sonia's Garden or literally around that area (google map) then this would be a budget hotel to stay in.... More

I found Alfonso Hotel through Agoda yesterday afternoon when I opted to spent the night at Tagaytay rather than driving back to Manila. I choose it for two reasons: 1. At 2,400 Peso(tax included) was one of the cheaper option as Tagaytay hotel rate are high; 2. They have a nice little Italian Restaurant. Luckily I made a GOOD CHOICE!... More

It was a last minute booking for me and I really do not know the area but the staff was very helpful even if we called and asked for directions at past 12 midnight already. We used the Annex Room which is very plain but we didn't mind it not until knowing that the toilet was broken/clogged, annoys me to... More

I've been to this hotel a couple of times a few years back and was generally satisfied. Not a great experience but their standard room was just fine. I decided to book again because of the mid year promo. 50% off on the suite. As usual, the staff were attentive and very respectful in dealing with us. The room was... More

Been here less than a month ago, if not for the friendly and accommodating staffs, my family and i could have checked out after the first day ( I booked in for 3 days). The address of the hotel is rather misleading, since we do not frequently travel to tagaytay, I have no idea that this hotel is already outside... More

We were initially aiming to check in at another hotel but since it was already fully booked, they referred us instead to Alfonso's which was nearby. The staff were friendly. We had a choice of getting a deluxe room or a junior suite. We opted for the deluxe room as it was a bit cheaper. The room we were in... More

It was very clean accommodation. The kids love it especially if you stay in their suite. Accessible to the Taal Vista lodge, horse back riding and other stuff. The restaurant is one of the best places to eat. The owners are always around. The staff is very helpful.

Two weeks ago, we made last-minute plans to go on a road trip to Nasugbu, Batangas and decided that rather than stay overnight in Batangas, we would just make it a day trip and then stay a night in Tagaytay on our way back. Given that it was a four-day weekend, most hotels in Tagaytay were fully booked. Amazingly though,... More

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I enjoyed it a lot. The receptionist/attendant was very gracious, friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious - which is surprising. You won't expect that it would look that way at first impression. Rooms are clean enough - it's what you'd expect for a 3-star hotel. The reason why my... More

First of all, it's a budget hotel. So expecting LCD screens or bath tubs or any of that stuff is simply looking for disappointment. But if you align your expectations right, you'll be pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms are quite spacious, but barren. There are a couple of furnitures, but nothing to write home about. The bathroom was... More
