An excellent setup of individual bungalows and a vast central bar and restaurant area, together with large pool and good gardens. Restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner, and bar is a great place to watch the sun go down. Hotel is well placed for visits to innumerable temples - we had a guide for one and half days, and... we stayed here for 2 nights, the food is European price (80 usd 2 pax dinner). Good breakfast buffet restaurant. the bungalows are very cute with views to a big river and a nice balcony, excellent swimming pool. free wifi but slow. Very well located in old Bagan.

If you stay in Old Bagan, this hotel has some of the best views, the best pool and the most lovely gardens; for those looking for a wonderful sunset then this is one of the best. The rooms are nice but the bathrooms compared to the other seven hotels we stayed in Myanmar, were small and in need of updating.... More

The gardens and views to the river are stunning. The restaurant is very good. My bungalow no 163 had an infestation of squirrels, which spent the night chewing the roof insulation. I took the option of a meditation session with a Buddhist monk at the cost of $ 70, which proved a to be a con. My complaints were not... More

The beautiful deluxe bedroom, was quiet and had a feeling of ancient style, with all mod cons. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with lots of space. Huge lovely pool and a view of the lake makes it special although with deck chairs all around, slightly bland and ordered. This is a 'resort' that mimics other styles. The food was disappointing.... This hotel is located in the middle of temples - you can hire a bike and visit all the temples. hotel has swimming pool with beautiful views of the river, the communal facilities are very nice and classy but the room was really 3 star. It was OK because we didnt want to spend much time in it but for... More

You're in Old Bagan. How can you screw that up? So of course the location is great. The service was good, but has a lot of room for improvement. The prices are definately higher that they should be, for what you get. The rooms left a lot to be desired. Completely unimpressive. Even borderline bad, in some regards.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this resort (which has a difficult name to spell and pronounce!). We were there for three nights and when we weren't touring the pagodas, or scooting around on e-bikes we rented from the hotel (SUPER FUN!) we relaxed by the pool or on our veranda and watched the beautiful sunsets from the hotel benches... Bagan is so hot that this hotel on the banks of the Irrawaddy is a welcome respite. It is out of the main Bagan area, so be prepared to be isolated at night. (If you want to walk to restaurants, get a hotel in the new Bagan town). But the gorgeous setting makes up for the location. Most of the... More

Just spent 2 nights/3 days at this lovely hotel by the Irriwaddy River. Stayed in a Villa which had 2 twins, separate living area, separate bath and shower, and lovely porch from which we could see the river. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Infinity pool was beautiful and delightful to use. Bar and food very good. We ate dinner... More
