The rooms are set around a garden which is lovely and green with shady trees etc. It's very well tended, as are all the public areas. The rooms are quite dark as they are mainly decorated with wood and the lighting is not that strong. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The main issue with the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the start of our tour around Myanmar. The rooms were good and clean. Breakfast was ok with all the basics. The staff were lovely. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance which were nice. I would recommend it for a short stay.

Arriving at this hotel for our two day tour in Bagan, we were happy with the exterior and the public area. The pool is small and was mostly in the shade during our visit, with probably not enough beds at certain times of the day. The stupa in the garden was a lovely setting. ATM in hotel. Free WiFi. Our... More

We stayed here during our tour of Myanmar and time in Bagan, our room was fine, very clean and staff were very helpful. Pool was lovely and has a beautiful setting with lots of Stupas around the hotel and even one in the garden. We did eat here one night and the food is better than you think it would... More

Really enjoyed our stay here of 3 nights. Room was great - very large and had a lodge style feel. The bathroom is older, but was clean and with good water pressure. The breakfast was as good as anywhere else we had in Myanmar. I fount the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. The wifi only works in reception... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our Myanmar tour and were really happy with the hotel. The gardens and pool were fantastic, so nice to jump in for a dip after a hot dusty day of trekking around the pagodas. Breakfast was really good, don't forget to go outside to the egg, pancake and hot food... More

We stayed for 2 nights in Thazin Garden Hotel and unfortunately it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The hotel has great potential: nice gardens, great location, and most important, an authentic Pagoda inside the hotel, next to the terrace, where you can enjoy an amazing view. The problems are basically the service and manteinance of the property. The... More

Stayed 2 nights here (Jan 25 & 26, 2015).The rooms are laid out as "bungalows", each with their own front porch and wicker chairs, facing a central garden (mostly shrubs and trees, but green and cool). Location is very quiet with no traffic noise. Pool is small, but (at the moment) has an arbor of bouganvillia lining one side. Spectacular.... More

Nice chalets and surroundings! Quiet and peaceful. However, there is no easy access to local restaurants and shops. Breakfast was pretty average as was dinner.Would have preferred to see more local dish on the menu. Staff were friendly. Although wifi was free, reception was poor.

This was a colonial style hotel, with several buildings where were about to hotelrooms in each building. And a large hall at least in our building. Here we had a room large enough for three persons and their luggage There were also a nice garden pool, which was enjoyable after Bagans dust.
