As you approach it looks like any other Bagan hotel but be prepared for a surprise. Chalet rooms around sculpted gardens and a clean and safe pool. Staff are welcoming and helful and breakfast packed with choice. Only let down is over priced bar and restaurant, but there are 2 good ones 2 min walk away, but you'll need a... More

This is a smallish resort styled hotel with chalet type rooms but some way from the main road. Although walkable, it is a rural dirt road, so bring a light after dark. The rooms are beautifully furnished and rustic although we suffered a room with a really noisy aircon which made it hard to sleep. There is apparently also a... More

Gardens lit at night, an ancient pagoda on the premises, genuinely hospitable staff, spacious, well- decorated rooms with separate toilet and dressing areas, breakfast on the terrace...what more could one want? The breakfast is substantial but not haute cuisine.

We were lucky enough to have one of the rooms down from the pool with a terrace on three sides surrounded by these lovely flowers. Each day the hot air balloons came over about 7.30 am a fantastic sight. the hotel itself is lovely friendly staff good facilities, nice pool. Probably a lack of sun loungers when everyone returns from... More

We stayed in a room overlooking the pagoda which was quite magical, particularly at night when the staff light candles and lanterns around the gardens. The room itself was large with everything that you could want.A nice touch was that the room boys decorated the beds with petals every evening and also sprayed for mozzies. We didn't have a problem... More

Setting is beautiful with gardens and very nice pool. Breakfast was very ordinary and internet extremely slow and only available in reception area. Don't be put off by the walk to nearby restaurants, take a torch and enjoy the walk. Safety is not a problem. Bathroom is dark. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here booked by a tour operator so can't comment on the price. Surroundings, grounds and pool are great. Rooms spacious and clean. Bathroom certainly had an odor, almost as though the sewer backed up in the evenings! Breakfasts average nothing to rave about. A few restaurants down the road where we ate at several times, local prices and... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour, so I can’t comment on price value. The room I had (102) was quite roomy, with twin beds, a desk and chair, a fridge and a TV. There was a nightstand with a lamp between the beds for reading. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had adequate shelf space around... More

Set in pleasant gardens with separate chalets - spacious rooms with tea making facilities (not automatic in Myanmar). A bit dusty but quirky decor - tons of hot water and good room service. Reasonable breakfast upstairs. Did not use in-house restaurant although setting looked good. Several good local restaurants less than five minutes away albeit up a dusty track -... More

One of the nicer places we stayed in Myanmar. Really sweet staff, lovely rooms overlooking a garden, nice swimming pool. Breakfast is great with a good choice of options. The grounds are beautiful with a pagoda in the garden which is adorned with lights and candles and incense at night. However we ate dinner there two nights running and the... More
