I used this hotel as base to explore Bagan . Its quite close to the street where all the tour bike companies are located and a short walk to the market. Its quite a large hotel , it has a resort feel to it as the majority of rooms are bungalows/villas - typically three to a block. The grounds are... More

Hotel is quite expensive and far from the street were all the restaurants are located. The rooms are large (even larger than needed) and comfortable, and the pool is really nice. Breakfast was ok, and we felt a bit lonely in the hotel!

We liked this place, nice big basic room, fantastic pool, BUT the Buddhist temple next door played on a loudspeaker very loud religious music, literally 23 hours a day (they stopped between 2-3 AM), and it was so bad we had to move out to another hotel. Ear plugs did not help! Part of the problem was that the staff... More

The Bagan area is very broad so choosing a hotel in this area to base yourself to visit the many sites takes some thought. This hotel, although not completely perfect seemed to fit the bill for us. The hotel is located at a busy intersection in Nyaung Oo but as there is very little traffic and less so in the... More

This is the hardest review to write. The pool is lovely, staff always welcoming and friendly, though forgetful as you need to call three times to get anything as they forget. Breakfast was very limited, the rooms are on the too old category but, well let me tell you, every time you walk into the room it stinks, the smell... More

The Hotel is right in the heart of Nyaung U with a 10 minute walk to shops, restaurants and bike rental hire. The pool was lovely and though it states there is a beer garden, we couldn't find it. We did have to search out staff to obtain pool towels, order meals and drinks but service was efficient. The rooms... More

Very nice place to stay at near Bagan! Excellent breakfast (coming from their bakery, which is very good). Very nice pool (although a bit on the sold side) Spacious room in a bungalow. On the down side, staff is very noisy early in the morning and once forgot to make the room,

I'd say the good out way the bad. Friendly staff attentive to your needs. We think the hotel have a deal going on with their taxi driver as he was hugely expensive! Best to find and book your own taxi if wanting to avoid this sting. Good location, a nice walk down through the village to restaurants and the river.... More

Stayed at Thante with my partner for 2 nights and immediately wished we booked for longer. The staff were amazing, helped us with all of our needs especially when renting bikes for the day to explore the temples in bagan. The hotel is a short walk away from the main street packed with restuarants and even has a huge pool... More

One of the best budget hotel during my visit in Myanmar. Hot water was always available, breakfast was excellent, the room (and the bathroom) was spacious and clean. Wifi only partially available. The drawbacks are position (not so central) and in general the noise at night (due to a monastery in the area).
