Stayed here for 3 nights and booked the Superior Room. Good basic amenities. The room was big and comfortable. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast was adequate Continental fare. My view of the temples were blocked by the surrounding trees ( I was on an upper floor) but you can take a walk around the compound and yet a very good view... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights in January 2015. On first impressions it looked good, reasonably new with a pool. Rooms were reasonably comfortable, big bathroom with a shower over the bath , TV, balcony, air con and a good location. Staff were pretty disinterested with some even refusing to acknowledge you as you greeted them when... More

We stayed three nights at this hotel and were disappointed. The room was dingy and the furniture and fittings were tired and worn. The bathroom was ghastly. The inclusive breakfast was uninspired. The swimming Pool was green! And I wasn't tempted to try out the sun loungers they looked hard and had no cushions. Overall we were disappointed and would not recommend... More

We stayed at the Kumudara over the December holidays, 2014. We stayed in the suite, which was fantastic. Two rooms with two patios overlooking a koi pond, and with pagodas in the background. Quite wonderful. The only issue was the heavy footsteps of the people in the rooms upstairs. Shower was super. Breakfast fantastic. Staff helpful. E-bike stand right outside... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our visit to Bagan temples in December. We got a bungalow and it was one of the best accomodation we found in Myanmar! We could admire temples from our room, rest in the swimming pool area and during the night the sky was full of visible stars... amazing! The hotel is... More

bottled water, kettle, toiletries and hairdryer all suuplied. We stayed in a room over looking a "water feature pond". It backed onto a village which could be "musical" in the morning. The laundry prices were the cheapest we came across. 300k for trousers, that's about 20p! Bike hire on site. Great location for visiting Temples. Food very good. Room modern... More

The hotel has 3 types of rooms, superior, junior suites and suites. Between them is about USD20 difference, and I'd recommend nothing less than the junior suites. At USD77, they're affordable and a huge jump from the superior rooms. Although the superior rooms face the pool, they're old and in sore need of a makeover. The junior suites are nice... More

Don't expect great views of the pagodas unless you request a room in the high rise block. We were in a ground level cottage - adequate but very ready for renovation. The lighting was poor and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. We liked the staff in the restaurant area and always ate on the great deck where... More

The hotel is beautiful, location is great, but needs renovation. The room was big and clean. Wifi was poor. The biggest problem was the bathroom. It was HORRIBLE. The shower didn't work properly, it was a nightmare to wash my hair.
