We chose this hotel for our base in Bagan for 3 nights. It was located in the New Bagan area. 15-20 minutes walk to the restaurants. Pros - View of the temples - quiet area - decent breakfast - room good size - AC worked well Con - expensive for quality of hotel - wifi didn't work most of the... More

I was on a biking trip in Bagan so this hotel became my base. Room was rather dark but the bed acceptable. TV has only CNN & Al-Jazeera as english channels. Has a nice balcony looking out to the pool and some rooms maybe to the distant pagodas.Lots of mosquitoes outside so you don't want to sit out there in... More

As my friend said "Why would you choose to stay anywhere else?". Our stay here was delightful. The staff were very friendly. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and kept very clean. The shower was a little annoying as it sprayed water everywhere, but that was as much as I would complain about. The real beauty of this hotel is... More

I've stayed at Junior Suite Room on 2nd floor. It was comfortable with tranquil view and I love it. They arranged a triple room for only me - quite large for me. That was fine. Airconditional worked well. Hotel staffs was nice. However, I did not appreciate their breakfast, it was very poor in. The inside restaurant was not clean.... More

We stayed in six different hotels in Myanmar so have a good idea of the standard to judge this hotel against, and it falls far short of expectations for its price range. A few key issues include the swimming pool which is disgusting and full of unfiltered water. The laundry service destroyed some of our clothes. The WiFi is woeful,... More

This hotel is on the edge of New Bagan and was among the hotels we disliked most. Its position was fine, we like walking. The room was ok - we had a ground floor overlooking the stupa's but the bathroom was not good - tired lacking in supplies and badly in need of upgrading. Our room was positioned at the... More

What I have finally realized is that I need to skip Lonely Planet recommended hotels denoted by a star in the guide book. The travelers who write the Lonely Planet guide books and I have completely different tastes when it comes to lodging. If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed closer to the main temples/pagodas... More

The only reason I'm rating this as "average" and not "poor" is because we enjoyed the balcony view with the temples in the distance as it was a shady, cool place to relax. This place came highly recommended by two friends, so perhaps that is one reason we were so disappointed with it. It has been at least 2 years... More

Everything was great. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful (don't speak good English though). There is an outdoor pool with a really nice view of the temples and it's a lifesaver during the hot midday hours. Ask for room with a balcony/view and it comes out straight to the temples. Breakfast is pretty decent with lots of options.... More

We had stayed here last year. The property and location is excellent but need to repair many things. Most of the toilet's shower is not working need to replace. All are old things. Staffs are helpful. Not recommended to others if the things still not replaced.
