The hotel in general is nice and good to stay, but it's the details that disappointed me quite much. The standard room is really very standard and not as good as the website posts, it's really simple and the floor's just a simple layer of something. Breakfast area is just outside the standard room so it can be bit noisy... More

Bagan was only our second stop while traveling Myanmar, and I was disappointed immediately with the hotel. We went from having a friendly staff that speaks great English in Mandalay, to a confused and grumpy staff that barely spoke a word of English. We booked a standard room (approximately 60 USD after taxes) and were terribly disappointed. We paid three... More

i was a little worried about this hotel because after i booked the standard rooms, there was a string of scathing reviews on tripadvisor about that level of accommodation. because i was within the cancellation window, i upgraded rather than cancel. Luckily, the deluxe rooms were lovely. the pool was nice (it was 95 degrees when we visited, so a... More

This is the kind of hotel that creates a lot of expectations but reality is very different. Don't be fooled by the photos. For Myanmar standards it might look OK, but if you have been travelling in Myanmar, you know that for the price paid you don't get much (we paid around $50 USD) The Hotel was suggested as part... We have just spent three nights at this hotel and as we were erring on the budget side of things we stayed in the standard room. It was as expected, a bed, air con, bar fridge tv, and bathroom. We were still able to take full advantage of all of the hotel facilities. Wifi is slow in Myanmar but bearable.... More

The hotel seems to be split into two half's - one around the new pool which looks great and one to the right of the pool which also has another pool (not that clean, note the childrens pool is out of order and full of green algae) This is only a review of the side to the right hand side... More

We never expected this. A wonderful setting, extensive lawns, two swimming pools, a spa and a pool side restaurant. Rooms were above average, large in size with robes, a fridge and the best Wi-Fi we've experienced in Myanmar. Restaurant food was excellent for Myanmar, where one ought not to expect much in that category. Staff were helpful.

We had a deluxe room in the most modern part of the hotel, looking out to the pagodas. The room was great, all brand new and very nicely made. The breakfast in the garden area is excellent (especially the mohinga), one of the best we had during our 3 weeks in Myanmar! Really nice and helpful staff. Renting a bicycle... More

I recently spent two nights at this hotel. Convenient location, close to many must see sites in the open-air museum. The hotel is composed of two old barracks-like buildings and new modern additions. I had booked a room in the old building. I was given a ground floor room that was dark and dismal. No privacy if you opened the... More
