They've got the best offer compare to their price! Friendly and helpful staffs, great location, reasonable price, very nice atmosphere with the pool and clean rooms! Their wifi not so strong but who cares it's a holiday! Then what else you need!

I really enjoyed my stay at Umbra. Location was perfect and i could rent a e-bike (8 dollars per day) to get around. So much fun! They also had a pool and it was just like in the pictures ;) The staff did everything to make you feel welcome and also served you food/drinks wherever you wanted.

The rooms were clean the staff were friendly and helpful. Could do with a few more beds around the pool. But the star of the show were the breakfasts! Delicious and lots of it! The hotel is well located with a number of restaurants within walking distance.

Yes certain rooms are run down, not very clean and overpriced for what you get. I chose it for the location and for the pool and it did not disappoint. The breakfast was better than I was expecting, we had an old room opposite the pool and we didnt suffer with any noise. The staff (guys) on the drive were... More

The hotel is between Nyuang U and Old Bagan and, with a bicycle, in a great location to explore the temples and pagodas. There are some decent restaurants close by, but the restaurant at the hotel is actually pretty good and the woman who seems to run it is very kind and helpful. The rooms were adequate with good A/C... More

The room was pretty basic but clean and the pillows were uncomfortable. The air conditioning was great. Staff were wonderful and the restaurant was great value. The hotel itself is in between old Bagan and Nyuang U, one night it was raining and taxis wouldn't come out the the hotel which made it impossible to get to a restaurant. The... More

The Bagan Umbra is in a good location. The breakfast is good. The closet smelled like mothballs. Our bathroom had a strong sewer smell. The swimming pool is a nice touch, because Bagan can be hot and dusty.

Stayed for four nights in one of the superior rooms in the rear complex. Room was serviceable and reasonably clean but unremarkable. Noise from adjacent rooms was significant. Wifi slow and often unreliable. Breakfast was mediocre. Service tended to be impersonal but efficient. The location is very convenient for those who want to hire a bike and ride off into... More

It seems all the hotel up price all over the country, Myanmar. The hotel location is very good, very near the interesting attraction and restaurant. My friends and I made reservation from agoda.com. The hotel is rated at 2.5 stars, its condition is not worth, old room, dirty bathroom, not worth for 43 USD. But the staffs at front desk... More

Arriving at the hotel I was quite worried what I would find after a recent spate of negative reviews on TripAdvisor and some cautioning words from a local. However, while not exactly pleasantly surprised on arrival, I thought the hotel was fine. It's definitely not 3 stars like they say behind their reception desk, but you get what you would... More
