We booked a standard room in this hotel which was ok. Unfortunately we couldn't help but notice terrine smell from the nearby sewage. My partner spoke to the manager and immoderately we got upgraded to another room. And the difference was just unbelievable. It was a deluxe room in what appeared to be a new wing/new hotel. Bed was comfy,... More

This hotel is so accommodating, the staff are so lovely and sorted out scooters for us when we arrived. The wifi was great and the free breakfast was so delicious and such a treat. The bed was very comfortable, the showers warm and the location brilliant. I could not fault this place!

We booked the superior room and it is not what you see in the web. As we arrived and saw it was a disgusting room and we asked for something better. They showed us the Deluxe room but there is no difference between the superior. After long discussion we got the Grand Deluxe Room for approx 50USD per night on... More

We stayed here for two nights. We are backpackers who had the cheapest room, which was still lovely. The pool is unbelievably nice, the staff are so helpful and friendly and the breakfast is amazing! We arrived at 6am after a pretty terrible night bus, and my two friends were sick, and the hotel greeted us with fresh juice and... More

I booked a standard room at this hotel based on the pictures available on their website and at Hoteis.com. However, when I got to the hotel, I was given a room completely different from what I had seen. It was run-down, dirty, dark (as the curtains must be closed for privacy). The bathroom was old and horrible. The shower didn't... More

The hotel itself is great. We felt quite tricked when we got there and checked into our standard room as we had only seen pictures of the Grand Deluxe room when booking. Those rooms are amazing and thankfully we were able to upgrade for 2 of our 4 nights there. The standard room was like a dungeon with plain ivory... More

All The staff were nice, gentle and helpful. Good manner and smile with their eyes. That was the best part of this hotel having. The standard room was poorly maintained and unacceptable especially I am a hotel executive. The Chief Reception met me for the comments I had to tell him. After dinner at the pool he offer me a... I chose this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews but I was cautious in my expectations. However, it surpassed all my expectations. It has been upgraded and they have a new infinity pool with a bar and dining area around it. Also, there is a beautiful pagoda in the gardens that is illuminated at night making a beautiful backdrop. We... More

The hotel in general is nice and good to stay, but it's the details that disappointed me quite much. The standard room is really very standard and not as good as the website posts, it's really simple and the floor's just a simple layer of something. Breakfast area is just outside the standard room so it can be bit noisy... More

Bagan was only our second stop while traveling Myanmar, and I was disappointed immediately with the hotel. We went from having a friendly staff that speaks great English in Mandalay, to a confused and grumpy staff that barely spoke a word of English. We booked a standard room (approximately 60 USD after taxes) and were terribly disappointed. We paid three... More
