This was by far the best hotel I stayed in during my month in the country. Immediately on arrival I was upgraded from the standard room I booked (apparently in another block across the street) to a poolside suite with a jacuzzi in it! I wanted an extra day in Bagan and they only charged me the standard rate to... More

OK, so we haven't seen any of the other hotels or GHs around Bagan, their pools, rooms or breakfasts, and we DID read all the below reviews before we stayed here, and decided to stay purely because Bagan is pretty hot and we thought it would be great to have a pool each day after trawling the temples, and there... Location wise, this hotel is right smack in the middle of the Bagan Archaeological Zone and very near the significant Temples. Sadly, this hotel was our worst hotel stay in Myanmar. After a 5 hour bus trip from Mandalay, we were pretty much exhausted when we checked in at Bagan Princess. Standard rooms were in another building separate from the... More

I love this hotel, this is the best of my 3-hotel Myanmar experiences so far. I got our family room at a reasonable price. I thought I had made a wrong decision when I read the whinings and comments in different travel review sites after I booked. But it was all worth it. I don't mind that our room was... More

We stayed here for a few days last month and were pleasantly surprised as we were a bit worried having read some of thee reviews. We were in 2 of the delux rooms and found them clean and well appointed. There was also a secret jacuzzi, which we only found on the second day. It did not, however, work. We... More

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and after checkin we were sent to a building across a dusty mud road that looked nothing like the pictures provided. The building did not look at all structurally sound and was infested with lizards, Mosquitos, beetles and more (I expect this was due to the fact that the rooms lacked glass windows... More

We asked to see rooms of several hotels and guest houses and this one really is a great value. Big clean rooms, separate shower, daily cleaning service, many TV channels, very clean, ac, hot water, centrally located, buffet breakfast and pool. It's hard to find much better for $25 a night. It was one of the Best budget hotels we... More

We booked a room and then send us to another building across the street. They show at the web page another room (the deluxe one, sayong is the standard). The building was almost falling apart. And the rooms... worst. Dirty sheets, smelly bathroom. We asked to change room for a clean one but the staff told us that we have... More

Friendly staff, good breakfast, room cleaned daily, toiletries and water provided, good-sized room but needs renovating. Hotel staff can organise e-bikes, bus trips, etc. No wifi in room and sporadic minimal wifi at reception area, although staff will allow you to use their phone to book your next destination's accommodation. Hotel is a 20-minute walk to Restaurant Row and a... More

I stayed in Bagan for two nights in late June 2014 as a solo traveler. Bagan Princess Hotel is not fantastically well located (in terms of restaurants) between Nyaung U and Old Bagan, near the Shwezigon Pagoda, but is closer to the temples. Regardless, everything is accessible by bike in around 5 minutes, so this shouldn't be a worry. Bagan... More
