We booked a room and then send us to another building across the street. They show at the web page another room (the deluxe one, sayong is the standard). The building was almost falling apart. And the rooms... worst. Dirty sheets, smelly bathroom. We asked to change room for a clean one but the staff told us that we have... More

Friendly staff, good breakfast, room cleaned daily, toiletries and water provided, good-sized room but needs renovating. Hotel staff can organise e-bikes, bus trips, etc. No wifi in room and sporadic minimal wifi at reception area, although staff will allow you to use their phone to book your next destination's accommodation. Hotel is a 20-minute walk to Restaurant Row and a... More

I stayed in Bagan for two nights in late June 2014 as a solo traveler. Bagan Princess Hotel is not fantastically well located (in terms of restaurants) between Nyaung U and Old Bagan, near the Shwezigon Pagoda, but is closer to the temples. Regardless, everything is accessible by bike in around 5 minutes, so this shouldn't be a worry. Bagan... More

To preparing for the trip, I sent email to an account in the website of hotel (Soe Lin) to book all the services such as hotel, horse cart, taxi from bus station to hotel, air ticket from Heho to Yangon, bus tickets from Bagan to Inle. The cost from Soe Lin is better than Min Thu agency. We discussed with... More

Stayed in a standard room for one night at a discounted price. Since we got a very good price and planned on a full day sightseeing tour of Bagan on bicycles, the room was fine with us and we knew in advance before our booking through reviews that all standard rooms are in a double storey building located 40m away... I am trying to find a redeeming quality about this hotel. Our purpose for booking here was for a pool as the days are so very hot in Bagan. The photos are misleading as the pool is far closer to a green lagoon, swimmable only because there is a shower head near the pool to wash off. We booked through... More

It wouldn't be a terrible hotel if it was honest about what it is: a cheap, decent backpacker hotel. We booked it, however, because of the website, which made the place look as though they had a pool, a restaurant, sun-loungers, and a pool bar. It really looked like an amazing deal for the price. It has none of these... More

We spent 5 nights in a superior street view room. Our room was spacious and had a comfortable, King size bed, fridge, kettle, coffee etc. The wifi was supposed to be only in the lobby but it was basically useless. We gave up trying and went to an internet shop in town. The room was nice and had a jacuzzi... More

Good Standard rooms with a/c, ensuite, fridge, kettle etc. These are the cheaper rooms in a separate building just down the side street for c$30 per night. The staff have limited English, but do try to help. Wifi/Internet is slow and unreliable as per elsewhere in Myanmar. If the hotel is quiet, there is no buffet breakfast, but you get... More

Lots of people have given this place a bad review, but having just come from Yangon in a grimy little room, my standard room felt like a palace. It was in the building away from the main one (3 minutes walk away) and was bright, bit and clean. There's so much to see in the area that I planned on... More
