i can't recommend this hotel. the pool was full of alge and nobody was inside. the tv didn't work and wifi was not very good. but the main thing was the atmosphere at this place. the staff was nice but the invisible manager ( it was only possible to talk by phone call ) was rude and unfriendly.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. The hot water is not working which definitely is a problem if there are outside temperatures around 5°C. And the pool is full of Algae and green plants, you can't use it. The Wi-Fi is never working and also the TV is out of service. The breakfast area is dark and I'm friendly and the... More

It would be easy to be critical of the Bagan Princess, but one has to judge it by Myanmar standards and, unless you are opting for the very few five star Western chains, mainly in Yangon, then this hotel probably stands up reasonably well against the local competition. Everything in Myanmar seems to come with a requisite layer of dust... More

Main rooms look nice, but what is not mentioned is that the cheaper rooms (still around $40USD/night) are located around the corner. These rooms have no working wifi and pretty poor handheld showers. More to the point, sleeping before 11pm is impossible as the rooms are behind a bar that plays very loud music until late every night. Definitely not... More

The girls I had been travelling with for a few days with and I decided to go for this hotel solely because for not much more we would have a pool and from the photos, it looked like a really nice place. We had the idea that we could go temple sighting in the morning, come back and relax in... More

bagan princess hotel looks nice on the outside but is tired and shabby on the inside, but it is clean. The beds are comfortable enough and the showers are warm, but not hot. The A/C works well, but the room is musty. Breakfast is fried eggs, instant coffee (per taste), watermelon, cheap bread toast, noodles and fried rice. The biggest... More

After staying in hostels for 4 weeks I was excited to find this place at just a little extra cost as it had a pool. So was disappointed to find that the pool was just disgusting, dark green and dirty. They would have had to pay me to get in it. Wifi didn't work the whole time I was there... More

Fair price hotel with good location and services. Beside this hotel, there is Queen Restaurant, tasty one in Bagan. Hotel staffs are also helpful and friendly. Room clearance is normal. There were also bicycle and electric bicycle rental at the hotel. From there, it is easy to go to the temples of Bagan for watching sunrise and sunset. Not a great... More

Great hotel to begin with and pretty much a bargain as me and my friend were often paying $25 all over burma for a room and this hotel had a pool! After two days use of the pool it then turned a little dirty and unclear, however we were informed it was being cleaned and would be clean tomorrow! However... More
