This hotel is a good bet if you want to be close to New Bagan, but also in striking distance to the temples, as it's right on the edge of New Bagan on the Old Bagan side. I stayed in one of the standard (superior) rooms, which are perfectly comfortable. Only down side of them is that the walls are... More

Excellent value for money! Staff is more than friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the swimming pool... with 40 celsius degrees and the idéal location! We had the cheapest room category which is confortable/ok. Clearly recommand To stay there!

This hotel, situated in the town of New Bagan, is located only some three kilometres from Old Bagan, where all the pagodas and temples are and where there are no hotels; this hotel is among the closest to these attractions. The external appearance is satisfactory, but the impression is spoilt in the rooms, where the beds consist of mattresses, albeit... More

From the second we arrived we knew we had made a good choice with Kaday Aung. The staff are delightful, friendly, and always willing to help. The decor of the hotel is really interesting - lots of red brick, big potted plants, carefully tended gardens, and wooden trimmings makes it all feel like a large private estate more than a... More

Amazing setting for your bagan stay. Obviously it all feels a bit over the top but isn't everything is in Burma? The staff was really nice too, very helpful when my friend got sick. Only down point is that the food is not really great. I recommend to eat somewhere else (which is a shame as the pool would make... More

Very friendly staff, pool is beautiful, but yes very cold ^^ no you won't get some thick walls, so you'll share quite everything, but it doesn't matter, Bagan is amazing, this hotel offers good accommodations for a reasonable prices.

The breakfast is digusting: More or less the same thing every day: some kind of things resembling sausages, fried rice (very greasy) not to be recommended, very little choice...their juices are digusting, You wake up in the morning with the smell of smoke coming into the room, you breathe more carbone monoxyde than oxygene. We wanted to rent some ebike... More

I enjoyed most of my stay at Kaday Aung. The garden is beautiful, there was a lot of effort put into the decoration of the hotel. The staff is really nice and helpful. Despite appearances, the location of the hotel is really great in New Bagan : away from the noise but still close to the main road. Bike /... More

We went there for one night. The Wi-Fi is not working properly, but it's normal in Myanmar. However the staff is nice, the rooms are ok. Our bathroom had some ants, but normal for being in this wood houses. The breakfast was good, the staff was really after you that you get all to be satisfied, was a bit too... More

So, I don't like leaving one star reviews so this is one is coming with all of the reasons why. During the stay at the Kaday Aung I began to make up my review, as i often do, based on things that had occurred up to that point. Before our last day I was expecting to give it two star... More
