My wife and I arrived on the overnight bus from Yangon without firm accommodation ideas and talked to the taxi driver about what you could expect to pay with and without air conditioning, with or without pool etc. We were interested in the pool option which he said would be $45.00 and he took us to Kaday Aung. Perhaps he... More

Good value by Bagan standards. The pool and surrounding grounds are welcome respite from the heat, you could chill here for days. I mean I really enjoyed the pool. Rooms are dated but clean. E-bike hire available. Staff friendly and helpful, though they did miss my wake up call. Restaurant is a standard issue SEA restaurant. 10 page menu with... More

First impression : We arrived here by chance and we didn't expect to spend 40$ on a night, but when you see the arrnagement of the hotel, with swimming pool, you need it, moreover when the weather is 50°C hot ! Reception : Very professional and concerned. Any need they will try to help. By the way, if you didn't... More

This hotel is a good bet if you want to be close to New Bagan, but also in striking distance to the temples, as it's right on the edge of New Bagan on the Old Bagan side. I stayed in one of the standard (superior) rooms, which are perfectly comfortable. Only down side of them is that the walls are... More

Excellent value for money! Staff is more than friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the swimming pool... with 40 celsius degrees and the idéal location! We had the cheapest room category which is confortable/ok. Clearly recommand To stay there!

This hotel, situated in the town of New Bagan, is located only some three kilometres from Old Bagan, where all the pagodas and temples are and where there are no hotels; this hotel is among the closest to these attractions. The external appearance is satisfactory, but the impression is spoilt in the rooms, where the beds consist of mattresses, albeit... More

From the second we arrived we knew we had made a good choice with Kaday Aung. The staff are delightful, friendly, and always willing to help. The decor of the hotel is really interesting - lots of red brick, big potted plants, carefully tended gardens, and wooden trimmings makes it all feel like a large private estate more than a... More

Amazing setting for your bagan stay. Obviously it all feels a bit over the top but isn't everything is in Burma? The staff was really nice too, very helpful when my friend got sick. Only down point is that the food is not really great. I recommend to eat somewhere else (which is a shame as the pool would make... More

Very friendly staff, pool is beautiful, but yes very cold ^^ no you won't get some thick walls, so you'll share quite everything, but it doesn't matter, Bagan is amazing, this hotel offers good accommodations for a reasonable prices.

The breakfast is digusting: More or less the same thing every day: some kind of things resembling sausages, fried rice (very greasy) not to be recommended, very little choice...their juices are digusting, You wake up in the morning with the smell of smoke coming into the room, you breathe more carbone monoxyde than oxygene. We wanted to rent some ebike... More
