We arrived super early off an overnight bus at around 5am but they let us into our room after a short wait which was nice. One major tip is that if this happens to you then while you are waiting go up to the top of the tower they have at this hotel for the sunrise and hot air ballon... More

This hotel is located in new bagan - a quiet area, but in walking distance of tea houses and restaurants. You have to rent a bike, e-bike, horse cart or taxi to go around visiting the temples. The staff at the hotel is very helpful giving information and providing whatever transportation you prefer. The pool at the hotel is nice,... More

This hotel in a nice clean place with very good facilities. But nice girl at reception with good english set me up with a taxi driver who took me astray from the planned pagoda tour to a smaller more remote one where a hounding lieing artist (not) charming narcissistic sales guy pressed me to buy, (I did not) and then... Kaday Aung Hotel is a good option in New Bagan. They have a large and serviceminded staff and most of them speak ok english. A big advantage is their poolarea. After a long hot day with temple exploring it´s great to be able to relax by the pool. I stayed in a Deluxeroom and it was a quite large room,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, and really enjoyed our stay - the rooms were charming with timber floors/walls, aircon, and always super clean. Perfect place to relax and unwind, and lie by the pool. I saw some silly complaints about the pool being cold - but we're in Myanmar, not Club Med! The staff went out of their way... More

The pool area is quite nice if you want to lounge around (although the pool is really too cold to swim in). The room is large. The staff are very friendly. That about sums up the positives of this place. The bathrooms here really ruined our visit. First, our bathroom smelled like sewer nearly the entire stay. The bathroom constantly... More

We were really looking forward to a bit of luxury at Kaday Aung and while the pool and rooms impressed, some aspects left us a bit disappointed considering the cost. The bathroom was a bit shabby with a terrible sewage smell at times and the bike hire was not very well kitted out unless you wanted an ebike. We wanted... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was restful and enjoyable. Having come straight from the 19 hour train from Yangon, we were pretty shaken up and this hotel was a perfect place to relax by the pool. We had a standard room with a comfortable bed, a powerful and hot shower and the staff were happy to move... More

The location is not bad, and the breakfast was decent. And while the staff was very nice and helpful, and the property looked pleasant (from the outside), the facilities were subpar. The wifi, which was supposed to be available in the rooms, was barely serviceable; we could only connect at the front desk, and sometimes not even there. The floor... More
