Spacious clean rooms with A/C, refreshing pool, green, relaxing and clean compound, very helpful staff, e-bikes (my recommendation!). For this price I expect a 'nicer' bathroom, but this seems to be a genereal Myanmar-problem. I would return again!

Kaday Aung Hotel, formerly known as Hotel Class One,is a nice place to stay in Bagan. Of course;i once stayed there, feel value-for-money & enjoyed hospitality of staffs there. In short,Kaday Aung is still "Class One" if you judge value-for-money. Cheers!

As for 35000 kyats for a double ,we can only get Standard room in average hotel.Their rooms were builded with woods and cheap materials. They don't have beds have to sleep on the matress which was on the floor. The bath room sliding door can not close so the room is wet.The breakfast was quite nice but can't get early as they... I think this hotel is really beautiful and when they finish the renovations is going to be really nice. Our room was spacious and comfortable only a bit dark. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is outside of the city walls which is the only inconvenience but all hotels in Myanmar tripled their prices from the last time... More

At arrival in Bagan, I hadn't booked accomodation, but at the tourist information counter at the airport, they recommended this place (and others). I was offered four room categories, ranging from the cheapest at $45/night, up to $75/night. I chose the "superior room" at $55/night, and got room 203. The room has a small tv, fridge, a/c. Walls and roof... More

We've stayed at some pretty interesting places on our year-long trip, but the Kaday Aung may be one of the more interesting - not in a good way. I'd like to think I'm reasonable, having stayed in many cheap tourist hotels, but there are so many possibilities, and so many let-downs here. First, the good: you get the basics -... More

i have mixed thoughts about this hotel. on one hand, it is pretty and seems on the surface to be a nice place with a lot going for it. the staff was helpful. the restaurant is OK. its not exactly the most convenient location, but its not terrible either. on the other hand, it was VERY noisy - both with... With a few improvements, this could be a really good hotel. The restaurant is quite good and the staff very friendly - they provide bikes and (reasonably priced) taxi service if needed, so you don't have to stay in the hotel every evening. The rooms are spacious but a bit dark with all that wood, and the locks on the... More

When we first arrived at the hotel we were very positive. The common areas are nice and the pool area was super (clean water in the pool when we were there). The front office staff were both very nice and helpful. However, it went quickly downhill once we entered the room and got a bit under the surface of the... More

We stayed 2 night during our Christmas holiday in Myanmar. We were upgraded to a family suite which is spacious and quite nice, to fit 2 adults and 2 kids. Average food at the restaurant, with traditional dance and puppet shows at night. The swimming pool could be quite nice, but we couldn't use it because of the cold weather... More
