We pre-booked to stay here for 7 nights. When we arrived late we were put in a room that smelt and was close to reception and therefore very noisy. I protested and we were moved the following day! We were moved upstairs which was much better. The staff are actually very friendly and helpful. The courtyard garden was a savior... More

Our room did not have a bath mat or an outside window. The towels were very thin and gritty. There is a fan and a window which opens onto the central courtyard. Our toilet had a bad smell no matter how much water we dumped down it. The breakfast consisted of cold fried eggs, water, toast and coffee, bananas and... More

Booked this hotel through a local guide who we did our trip with. It is central, clean and the bed is good. Shower with no pressure, old fashion look, weak breakfast selection. Worst part was the 2nd night, karaoke until 12pm and then a lot of Indonesian guests wondering around the hotel speaking loud and singing until 3am... and by... More

Very friendly hotel, spacious, clean room, hot water, beautiful garden with sitting area with free hot/cold water. Excellent service, hyper friendly staff. I spent 3 nights in hotel Indra Toraja. There is a karaoke at the entrance, but it was not too loud nor too long in the night. The last night, new guests drinking (alcohol) in the night in... More

Friendly and attentive staff, centrally located and clean, comfortable rooms. Garden in centre of hotel really adds to its character and attractiveness. Food good. Music in evening will not be to everyone's taste but it does give it an interesting vibe!

This is an OK hotel with a good location in Rantepao, close to the market and in the center of town. The rooms are showing their age, especially the bathrooms which need a refreshing. The garden in the hotel is nice. Breakfast is indonesian style, not a lot of choice. overall a good option to visit the region.

We arrived in Rantepao without having booked a hotel, so we just followed up the bus drivers' advice to go here. We got a twin room with an extra mattress, which made the room a bit tiny for 3 people, but doable for 2 nights. Sanitary was fine, breakfast was nice and the inner garden is amazing. Tip: negociate about... More

Perhaps because it was August, but the rooms seemed pricy for what they offered. The bed was good, but nothing extraodinary. Bathroom very big, but a bit worn out. I would go back, as service was excellent and always with a smile.

I stayed in Sahid Toraja but went all the way to Indra 2 Hotel just to have the buffalo steak. It was as great as expected. A hearty portion of succulent buffalo steak served on hot plate with fries and black pepper sauce. Reasonable priced restaurant with great quality of food. The best $50 meal I spent in Toraja (there... More

We arrived here in the poring rain at night. We were treated to a welcome drink and a beautiful smile from Sophie. Within 1 hour we had met our guide and made a plan for the next 2 days in the Tana Toraja area. When it was time to leave it was Sophie that arranged the bus to Tentena for... More
