As titled, the ground was vast and the garden beautifully well-maintained. Even better maintained than the bedroom, which was outdated and seriously needed a major facelift. No air con, as previously mentioned, and those accustomed to cooler climate might feel a bit hot. Towels were old, thin and rough. No wifi in the room and cellphone reception was terrible (I... The Misiliana is a good hotel to stay it when spending a few days visiting Toraja. Yes the bathrooms are a little dated and the 'normal' rooms don't have AC but in April we found that we could live without it. On the plus side the hotel is quiet and the staff are great. Try the cocktails as they are... More

First I must say that the rooms are not air-conditioned as the local people believe it is cool in the mountains although this is not the case if you are used to a cooler climate. However we left the windows open and did sleep quite well. We had requested a double room but did not get one. The rooms are... More

This hotel desperately needs renovation. Rooms and bathrooms are at least 25 years old and not acceptable anymore for a high class hotel. It is clean and staff is friendly. However not s nice atmosphere. Restaurant is not very good. We had dinner here one night but went to town the other two nights. Our conclusion: chose another place (we... More

Relatively speaking, this is the best accommodation in Toraja. The former president, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, stayed here several years ago. The hotel has a vast land and beautiful property with gradens, many trees, pool overlooking rock cliff, and the traditional Toraja houses. But it needs a major face lift, as the rooms and buildings are very dated and the furniture... More

Thirty years after its construction, the hotel needs an upkeep in order to restore its once great presence. Nowadays, it is a bit outdated and the rooms need some repairs. Today, the gardens are beautiful, so don't let the hotel slip into dilapidation. Many of the traditional houses in the compound are original. The overall atmosphere is quiescent. There is... More

I was surprised that the room has no air-conditioner, as the staff explained the local weather was cool enough for guests. The nice service from the hotel that they allowed us to take shower before check-in time as we arrived at 6am from Makassar. So we can continue the journey in the morning and left our things at hotel. Food... More

I went to Misiliana hotel last november. The rooms have no internet, you had to go to the restaurant areas, the service was so so (they took like 20 mins when I asked for towels for the swimming pool) and what is worst, after cleaning my room they left the room unlocked. We had expensive stuff there, plus the passports,... More

Room was clean enough. But bathroom looked old. No air-conditioner. Room was not sound proof since there were open ventilation to outdoor area. And they did not replace bath amenities that were used before (we had to ask for more soap). Breakfast was just ok, nothing special, but they provided Indonesian and American breakfast. No in room-wifi (only at lobby... More

All staffs are very friendly and caring. The service is very good. The decoration of the hotel is pretty awesome. I like their tamarillo juice. This is really a good place for staying. ultimately I had a superb experience.
