Luta Resort is might be the best hotel in Rantepao city center. Breakfast is good, room is a bit small, view to the river side its nice. But still for me its not worth the price. I rather stay bit out of Rantepao city center for the same value of money and got bigger room. But if you need to... More

The Luta Resort Toraja is centrally located and comfortable. Superior rooms are recommended as they are spacious with balconies overlooking the lush garden below. The Deluxe Rooms that I saw actually appeared smaller, the benefit being they had their own air-conditioner rather than a centralised one. This hotel is very popular so it is wise to book well in advance.

We spent 5 nights here after being 7 nights elsewhere. It was fantastic. The staff are very responsive to any request. Go for an upstairs room. We thought it would be really expensive but it was very reasonable - and only a bit more than our previous accommodation which I would class as middle range.

In fairness, I only had dinner at this hotel once; the food was not that great and the service was exceptionally slow. I had a five night stay in a pre-booked deluxe room for a river view... Reception didn't have a record of it and had me in a superior room. In spite of my documents (after four long flights... More

A nice small hotel in a good location, not too crowded but not too far from the crowd. The room with no ac has a bad air circulation. the opening for ventilation is only a small one (about 80cm by 10cm) above the door. The fixed glasses beside the door should be open able. It was good to have an... More

We arrived at the hotel only to find that our reservation was not to be found. After about an hour of haggling with the reception we were able to secure one night. The staff was very polite and cordial. In hindsight we should have left and looked for something more reasonably priced. The hotel room was clean but very basic... More

The hotel has some nice wood decoration a nice small garden and overlooks the river, Good clean rooms. Brekfast is fine but i missed vegetables. Our room on the 3rd floor and on the street was not too noisy. The hotel is centrally located yet on a smaller street. There are many different restaurants around

The hotel was booked by our guide and was suitable, it had a small, high speed fan but no ac. The restaurant wad very good, excellent breakfast and a great menu for dinner, very tasty. Wifi was only available in the lobby. Do not use hotel laundry, mega expensive, simply turn right out of hotel, then right at first street... More

the hotel was booked by our guide: - the room were nice and spacious. - the bathroom was large - the air cond is ok - however the shower had smal flow of water with the pressure going up and down. it is not unbearable but i guess for some it might be an issue. for instance for those who... More

This hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Tana Toraja and Rantepao. This makes it great as a base for exploring Toraja Land. The Check In was quite slow, and the room rather basic. No aircon but there was supposed to be a fan. Unfortunately it did not work. This meant open windows at night and plenty of mosquitos.... More
