Great place for exploring the Ijen crater. Lovely grounds, clean rooms. Only the restaurant was pretty bad, the food we ordered was tasteless(twice), the meat was far too well cooked. Would stay here again, but stick to the basics like nasi or mie goreng.

It was a pity we didn't stay here for too long cos we reached past midnight and had to drop our luggage with just a couple of minutes to freshen up before we left for Ijen Crater. But we did have an hour or two after Ijen Crater to enjoy the hotel. The suites/rooms are a distance away from one... More

Very nice hotel resort, good place to plan to climb crater Ijen (hotel can organize trip: 1,5 hrs by car and 1,5 hrs hiking). Nice pool. Excellent and cheap food. Table tennis facilities. Little playground for kids. Beach access possible, but dirty and not recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised with this nice local hotel . I had read the reviews and had asked for a room in the new wing - very nice, newer and comfortable. Nice open air restaurant with reasonably priced and good food. Wonderful grounds with expansive gardens and an enjoyable pool. Very close to ferry. I hired a guide to drive... More

Ketepang Indah is not anywhere near the best hotel I have stayed in. But it is the best hotel in terms of quality/price: large, well furnished rooms, huge grounds, fine restaurants, free breakfast, pool, play areas, overlooking the gulf between Jave and Bali. this hotel can also arrange 4-wheel drive transportation onto the Ijen plateau, a wonderful, if spine jarring... We stayed in May this year as the base for Ijen. We had to change rooms because I'm a bit fussy about the bathroom- so even though we got a great room overlooking the Java Straits, I gave it up in favour of a room in the more recently constructed section which is newer. The construction noise of the new... More

I have been stayed in this hotel for several times for business trip but this week I stayed One night for a rest after long driving from Solo before going back to Bali. I am always happy to see the garden of the hotel which is the most I look forward to visiting the hotel. This time I stayed in... More

I was not expecting such a nice hotel so close to the Banyuwangi Ferry Terminal, but the Ketapang Indah was a pleasant surprise. Rooms On our first night we arrived late and stayed in a room in the new wing. The room is very clean and large enough to comfortably fit two people. The furnishings are not fancy but more... More

The property was large and beautiful, with well-manicured gardens that we enjoyed strolling in the evening. We stayed here on the way to Ijen crater, so we didn't get to fully appreciate all of the hotel's ammenities. However, the rooms were large and mostly clean (seemed like there were some stains on the sheets), and there was free bottled water,... More

Very relaxing hotel, for escape from daily routine, feel like home, many coconut trees, fresh air since this hotel near by sea. good swimming pool. far from the airport, but near by boat terminal if you want to continue to Bali. Price is cheap.
