Nanning is undergoing rapid development with much construction activity. I doubt there will be a peaceful hotel anywhere. The hotel warned that the jackhammers would start early. They did. This is a good 5 star hotel with full amenities. However the air-conditioning is very noisy with very bad fan noise. It was 39C when we arrived at about 7pm. The... More

Very comfortable (bordering on luxurious) hotel and very good value. Comfortable beds, large rooms, attentive staff. Reasonably well located (as well as anything can be in Nanning given the traffic). Superb breakfast buffet, massive choice of Western and eastern foods, and an egg chef who makes fabulous omelettes. As is often the case, you seem to get a lot more... More

Very comfortable hotel with professional staff. Spacious rooms, quiet, good choice for a stay in Nanning. Room and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast buffet is at high standard. Quick and efficient check out.

Marriott Hotel in Nanning is acceptable for a short stay but no where close to the standards I would expect from a Marriott located in Hong Kong, Shanghai, or Shenzhen. The hotel was clean, but decor looked dated. Breakfast was average and food quality below my expectations. Hotel needs more professional management brought in who have experience in managing hotels... More

This was a quick stopover after arriving quite late, decided to stay in have room service and an early night, never saw much of the hotel but was disappointed , no milk for coffee, no shampoo. Conditioner or shower gel just one bar of soap, room service was quick and prompt and delivered in style as Marriott often are, fish... More

It was not the first time i have stayed at the Marriott in Nanning. Unfortunately, because I could compare with before, it became a bit disappointing, though this five star hotel is ranked high in Nanning not without its merits, and I was traveling for business before, not family, like I did this time. The GOOD stuffs first: 1. The... More

Stayed in Marriott for one night with the family. We made the request for connecting rooms/rooms next to each other, but the hotel couldn't make it. We were then upgraded to the executive floor to get a room next to each other. Appreciated that the Front Desk staff helped to arrange it and even introduced us to a nice restaurant... More

Even though this hotel is not yet in a central part of town (the town is gradually expanding out to meet it though), it was a very pleasant hotel stay at and the staff efficient and friendly. Was upgraded to an executive room which was a nice surprise. Stayed in a room with two comfortable double beds (not Queen size... More

Stayed in the Marriott on a business trip in Feb 2014 and to be honest I have very little bad to say about it. The facilities are excellent, the food in the restaurants is of a "good" standard. The room is very comfortable and well furnished with excellent bathroom facilities. I guess the only negative would be the water allocation... More

The hotel is not in the centre of town, but central enough for all activities. It has a good pool, WiFi in the room and public area's, the breakfast is good with enough choice. Very nice rooms, good quality beds, good service. At their rates you cannot go wrong.
