I have stayed in the Sheraton several times. It is definately the best hotel in Guiyang. Everyone speaks some English and the front desk staff and phone operator were fluent. THe hotel is wondefful, definitely the best in Guiyang. The room is big, with all the comforts you can expect, very comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Opened in May 2007 and is by far the best hotel in the city. Some services and restaurants are not open yet or I would give it a 5. Good location downtown near the river and the Walmart. Expat management know how to run a good hotel. Western restaurant with great food and service. more
