We spent one night here on our recent Serengeti Safari trip and had an amazing time. Tents are brilliant and so huge with attached bathroom - not like camping at all. Restaurant was of very good quality and we enjoyed absolutely everything about our stay, no complaints at all - sorry forgot the lunch boxes which are not good at... More

This was a fantastic camp site. This would be considered glamping at its very best. The rooms are large and very trendy. The best feature is its sitting area just outside the room. They are netted which allows you to sit at night and just watch the animals go by. We had zebras surrounding our tent the entire night and... More

This place is well worth the drive. We spent two nights here and it was an amazing experience. The tents are awesome. The food is wonderful and the staff is out of this world. The water in the showers was either boiling hot or freezing cold, but who cares, everything else was so amazing I barely noticed. We had zebra... More

What a jewel in the crown of Zara tours not that it has much to beat. The tents are well situated and appointed, even down to the Ikea furniture. The food was excellent and well presented. The staff couldn't do enough to help you they were excellent. It was amazing.

This tented camp, at 1960 meters above sealevel, has a fantastic view of Lake Eyasi. The tents are large and comfortable with a large brickwalled bathroom each. There is a rich birdlife and occasional visits by zebras and other animals on the compound that is not fenced. When moving from your tent to the restaurant or back again in the... More

The name says it all... after nearly an hour off the "main" road you come to camp which has a great view, wonderful hospitality and Maasai Warriors who escort you to your tent as protectors from the wild. Seems a little surreal until you see the animals which makes it understandable that the Maasai carry a bow with a couple... More

My husband and I stayed here one night in January 2013, and my only complaint is that we only got to stay one night! The tents are very spacious, and after climbing Kili and sleeping in a tent on the ground for a week, this seemed like pure luxury. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was large, the front porch was... More

Maasai men armed with spears and bows and arrows escort you to and from dinner to protect you from wildlife nearby. You wake up at midnight to the low grumble of a lion fifty yards from your room. You sit on wide, spacious decks and gaze for hours at Lake Eyasi below. The place has been open for only a... More
