we arrived here the day after I broke my foot and they could not have been nicer nor more solicitous. From putting us in the closest cottage to the main lodge and helping me walk there, they were great. The cottage is huge and lovely, the bed great. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay!

My fiancé and I recently stayed here for two nights and couldn't believe how beautiful this place was. The lodges are big and spacious with a fire place in both the bedroom and front room. We had both fires going at night as it was quite chilly during our stay. The bathrooms are big and spacious as well. We had... More

Cozy, beautifully designed cottages with dual fireplaces and large balconies make the most of the stunning Ngorongoro area bush views as well as creating comfortable and inviting living areas. Spacious bathrooms with AMAZING waterfall showers are the perfect treat after a dusty few days on safari! Very friendly and polite room attendants ensured a very sweet turn down service (a... More

An absolutely 5 star in the middle of the Tarangire and Manyara areas...the reviews were excellent but we weren't expecting this. Lodge rooms, dining room, common areas, patios, landscaping and walkways, pool, all are just out of Architectural Digest. Food was likewise 5 star (chef discussed the prep with us). And Morley Stanley, the lodge GM was a terrific host.... More

We loved it! Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge (which is what it's called now) was absolutely spectacular. We were given the honeymoon suite (lodge) and welcomes with a bottle of champagne. The staff went above and beyond for us the entire time we were there. We loved cozying up by the fire after dinner with a glass of wine, and also really... More

What an incredible start to our journey into the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Sadly, we were only able to spend one night there but all of us dream of coming back and staying longer. Mr. Stanley and his team were attentive and responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. We arrived tired, dusty and weary and were met with... More

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. It is so comfortable, authentic, the staff are very lovely and the view and setting is amazing. The rooms are nicely decorated, the food is great and the pool area is very relaxing. It is close to the main entrance to the crater and also to lake manyara for safaris.... More

Our Tanzania safari finished with two nights at this lodge. I don't think I have ever stayed in a more luxurious and comfortable place. The "rooms" are separate cabins, each with a large bedroom, an equally large living room, a generous washroom and a full-sized deck. Every convenience is in place. We had room 13 which has an excellent view... More

My family and our parents who came to visit us from Sri Lanka stayed at this great place. It's amazing experience. The hotel is just at the gate of the Ngorongoro Crater entrance and very convenient. This unique hotel provides all kinds of comforts while the service of the staff is simply greater than the all facilities available. If you... More

Beautiful bungalows with a stunning views on the lush vegetation. Where on earth can you still find a room #13? Our bungalow 13 (we're not superstitious) was spacious with a sitting room and large bedroom. A lovely balcony with a lovely view completed the experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The setting in the well kept gardens with... More
