We loved it! Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge (which is what it's called now) was absolutely spectacular. We were given the honeymoon suite (lodge) and welcomes with a bottle of champagne. The staff went above and beyond for us the entire time we were there. We loved cozying up by the fire after dinner with a glass of wine, and also really... More

What an incredible start to our journey into the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Sadly, we were only able to spend one night there but all of us dream of coming back and staying longer. Mr. Stanley and his team were attentive and responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. We arrived tired, dusty and weary and were met with... More

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. It is so comfortable, authentic, the staff are very lovely and the view and setting is amazing. The rooms are nicely decorated, the food is great and the pool area is very relaxing. It is close to the main entrance to the crater and also to lake manyara for safaris.... More

Our Tanzania safari finished with two nights at this lodge. I don't think I have ever stayed in a more luxurious and comfortable place. The "rooms" are separate cabins, each with a large bedroom, an equally large living room, a generous washroom and a full-sized deck. Every convenience is in place. We had room 13 which has an excellent view... More

My family and our parents who came to visit us from Sri Lanka stayed at this great place. It's amazing experience. The hotel is just at the gate of the Ngorongoro Crater entrance and very convenient. This unique hotel provides all kinds of comforts while the service of the staff is simply greater than the all facilities available. If you... More

Beautiful bungalows with a stunning views on the lush vegetation. Where on earth can you still find a room #13? Our bungalow 13 (we're not superstitious) was spacious with a sitting room and large bedroom. A lovely balcony with a lovely view completed the experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The setting in the well kept gardens with... More

Exploreans is a treasure sitting right outside the gate of Ngorongoro. I stayed for a night after my safari in Lake Masek but I wish I could have stayed longer. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, so many vibrant and beautiful plants/flowers. You can see the garden in which they grow the fresh vegetables used in the meals. The welcome staff was... More

We have stayed just one day and regreted to have to leave. Great swiss type gardens, huge villas, big wooden construction verandas with magic view on the forests. They are thinking of EVERY single detail ( nicely arranged umbrellas, beach towels, chocolate near the bed...; it is clean, food - high-class restaurants in Europe would just envy. We congratulated the... More

We were very impressed with this place and was a lovely haven after a long drive. The lodge is about a 5 minute drive to the entrance of the park and a 40 drive to the descent path down to the crater. There are closer lodges right on the rim of the crater but this place was so lovely that... More

An extraordinary location near the rim of Ngorongoro Crater. The cottages have a living and a sleeping room with bathroom and a balcony. The view is magical with all possible shades of green. The whole location is a beautiful garden design with flowers and well maintained. I have two minor points; there are no bathroom slippers and the telephone is... More
