Good location with good spacious rooms. Beautiful view and gardens. There was some confusion over what is included and what is not under a full board package Food could be better for the quality of the accommodation. Place not quite at full potential

We stayed here for one night before going to the Ngorogoro Crater - it is absolutely stunning! When we arrived, we were given cool towels and juice while we sat in the gorgeous reception area. We were blown away when we were showed to our room though! The "rooms" here are actually all self contained villas. We had an enormous... More

The Ngorongoro Exploreans Lodge was our favorite lodging during our two-week East Africa safari, with the largest and most luxurious accommodations we stayed in. Each guest "room" is a separate cabin with a beautifully decorated and spacious living room, bedroom, and bath. The living room has a sofa, chairs, desk, and day-bed, very comfortable for just lounging. Each cabin has... More

10 people stayed one night at the lodge in November 2014. We were met with a gentle man with fresh wet towns witch was refreshing! The manager on duty greeted us with information about the lodge. The area and the view is just breathtaking! You don’t’ feel like you are at a hotel, you feel like you are at you... More

We stayed at the Exploreans Ngorongoro Lodge as part of a safari in October, 2014. I didn't make the reservations, so I was expecting another tent facility. Was I ever pleasantly mistaken! This is a luxury establishment with separate buildings for each guest. The rooms are very spacious, modern, well-appointed and quite private. Meals and drinks are included (some alcoholic... More

Beautiful, manicured grounds. Views to die for. Luxe accommodations that were the largest we experienced in East Africa and an enormous veranda to enjoy the views. Lovely pool. Nice little spa where I had a very good, hour long massage for around 30$ Great food. Just a few km outside the crater entrance which was perfect, instead of inside, which... More

The manger Mr Stanley very welcoming. The dinner was great. The lighting maybe a bit on the high side. Breakfast just the way I... More

This is a very nice lodge in a lush tropical setting with very manicured and well cared for gardens. Every time we arrived whether our first time or after game drives we were always welcomed with a wet washcloth and juice. It appears as though all the rooms are the same size and they are huge!! Everyone is in an... More

Exploreans Lodge is "top banana" and offers such a quiet, peaceful respite after a long day of game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. The Lodge is well appointed with very comfortable furnishings, the food is extraordinarily good, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant. This lodge is a must for anyone traveling to the crater and it's surrounding areas. It's ideal... More

Exploreans Lodge was a pleasant break after being out on safari for 4 days previously. The staff was exceptional. We were welcomed by the Lodge Manager a warm wash cloth and a nice cool fruit drink. The staff escorted us to our wonderful room. The food at the on-site restaurant was very good. The staff treated us like royalty. We... More
