We planned our safari through &Beyond, and their Ngorongoro Crater Lodge was full for our dates there, so they recommended we stay at The Manor - what a great recomendation! The hotel is beautiful and peaceful - it used to be the manor of the coffee plantation. The plantation still exists but the house is now a hotel. The rooms... More

Perfect in everyway. Delicious food, wonderful friendly staff, beautifully appointed lodges, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights here, wished we had stayed for longer. Worth swapping something in the crater for this tranquil oasis, even if it is a bit further from the crater itself :)

My husband and I stayed at the Manor as part of a package with Elewana Safari (highly recommended), and it was truly an experience of a life time. From the very warm and personal greeting when we arrived, to a royal send-off with all staff waving good-bye at our departure, we couldn't have been more impressed. The cottages were comfort... More

We had the excellent fortune of staying at The Manor for the first two days of our safari vacation in Tanzania. We are seasoned travelers who have stayed in numerous hotels all over the world, but the experience we had at The Manor now stands at the pinnacle of our lodging experiences. From the instant we arrived, we were treated... More

Having travelled all over the world this was the best experience ever! The Manor is the nearest place you will get to paradise! We have never had such service in such beautiful surroundings as this - EVER! We were continually amazed by the 'surprises' Benedict came up with. We were constanly saying Wow! and the memory of the Manor will... More

The Manor is characterized by its beautiful architecture with several smaller semi detached houses settled in a perfect maintained garden around the main building. Great view and lovely manager couple that take really care about their guests. It is the place to stay for visiting the Ngorogoro Conservation area. Nice bar, good restaurant with excellent choice of food. For lovers... More

The Manor was our second stop on our trip and we were very pleasantly surprised. The main house is beautiful and the rooms are really spacious and beautiful. The views are stunning too! The room are very big and spacious and the bathroom has a drencher shower and a lovely bathtub, which is perfect after a long days game drive.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst on our honeymoon and we both agree it was by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Having travelled from Tarangire Treetops we thought this place wouldn't be able to measure up but it really did, we cannot recommend it enough. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful and the main house... More

I actually think that the title of my review says it all. The drive in from the highway is about 15 minutes of very rough, messy dirt road - but The Manor is worth every second of that drive. My wife and I have stayed in many hotels around the world, some of them considerably more expensive that this one.... More

Due to a mix up with our travel agents we were not actually booked in for the Manor. None the less Rob and Lani could not have been more welcoming. A room was made available to us and we had our alloted three nights whilst they sorted our agents. Rooms and view superb. The staff were very good, attentive and... More
