My stay at the hotel was ok, I slept well and had air conditioning and hot water so can't complain too much. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge and TV. Breakfast was poor to say the least. One day we were lucky enough to have an amazing mango, but apart from this the choice and quality... More

We were advised by our travel agent to stay at The Impala hotel prior to climbing Kilimanjaro. It is a quite well maintained hotel in a good safe suburban area of Moshi. The service was excellent and we could keep our suitcases in safe custody at the hotel while we climbed Kilimanjaro. The service was excellent and the staff went... More

We have dined at this restaurant before , and allthough it is nothing memorable we found that food was OK . As we spend some time in Moshi we tend to dine out pretty often either on ourselves or with friends . Tonight we were happy to dine alone- it would be hard to explain for friends why we took... On a short business trip, I decided to stay at the KIH, a few kilometers from downtown Moshi, have to say, the stay was short but pleasantly refreshing, the service was good, arrived past 11pm and the chef/cook managed to fire up an excellent club sandwich at that hour, rooms are clean, and quiet, exactly what you need on a... Small rooms. Dirty toilet. Horrible breakfast. Dirty swimming pool. I'm sure this place was really nice 15 years ago but now it is a worn out property with many other better options available in Moshi offering better comfort, better food and cleaner and better toilets. Staff was very inattentive and they just did not care.

I stayed at the Impala for 3 nights following a Kilimanjaro climb and Safari in early March 2013. The hotel was booked through the Safari company and we did ask if there were more budget options but we were warned that the standard of accommodation in Moshi is lower than in neighbouring Arusha. The Impala provided a comfortable stay. The... More

After researching hotels in Moshi we decided to stay at the Impala Kilimanjaro Hotel and pay more for the "sheer comfort, pure luxury" stated on their website. Unfortunately it turned out to be greatly overpriced for the experience we had. Breakfast was reminiscent of breakfasts in hotels in the1980s with white, tasteless bread to pop in the toaster yourself, a... More
