We had a very good stay at the Hibiscus B&B. We stayed here for 4 nights and the service and breakfast where perfect. It's very clean and the bed sleeps so good! It's a good place for meeting other travellers in the lovely garden/terrace. The only con we have is the noise during the night, you can hear everything around... More

My eight-year-old son and I visited Kilimanjaro for one night and arrived at the Hibiscus. A quiet, pleasant place in a very pleasant area. The staff were extremely nice, like old acquaintances. My son became ill at night with vomiting and diarrhea. In the morning I had to take him to the doctor and planned to clean up the mess... More

We stayed for 2 nights. They have just moved to a larger building on the outskirts of Moshi and we arrived the day they were moving in! Despite things not being finished (each time we came back another wall had been painted or another picture hung up!) we had a lovely relaxing time. It is run by a young British... More

Dear Guest, Yes it was all a bit chaotic wasn't it! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and made use of the balcony for sundowners. Welcome to Moshi again. From Rebecca and all the staff. More

Stayed here for one night after a 30 hour journey to Tanzania. This place was perfect for a one night stay; it is clean, breakfast is nice and generally it is very well priced. Also located quite close to the centre of moshi which is a nice little town. Cannot comment too much as we only stayed one night and... More

My wife and I stayed at the hibiscus for one night on a weekend getaway from Arusha. The staff were all very helpful and the have hotel was quiet It is a converted colonial bungalow and has a really cool feel. Not super close to the downtown of moshi, but it is walkable. Actually not a bad location if you... More

I stayed in the Hibiscus for the second time, this time for longer, 3-4 nights. The breakfast is good (I ate out for other meals) and it only takes about 20 mins to walk into Moshi centre. Staff are friendly and the garden is lovely. The only thing I'd say though is that I stayed in the double room at... More

We had 3 short stays in the hibiscus between climbing the Kilimanjaro and safaris. Hibiscus provided us with a very clean and friendly welcome every time. Helpfully staff, good facilities (showers weren't brilliant, but at least they were warm), good atmosphere and good breakfast (included) and dinners (optional).

I stayed at the Hibiscus for one night and wish I was able to stay longer! I was in room 5 and felt absolutely spoiled by the en suite bathroom and hot water for the shower. I thoroughly enjoyed reading in the garden, on the front porch area, as well as inside. It is a cozy place to stay and... More

After a day safari, my family and I arrived at The Hibiscus tired and hungry. We were greeted warmly by our host for the night and shown our accommodation. We had the spacious family room which was light, clean and had its own washroom. Our dinner was lovely and the hot shower was the icing on the cake. The garden... More

It was a very nice place to stay, especially considering the price (20 $ per night). We had the impression, that it used to be a very well maintained property with very nice furnishing. However it now looked kind of unkempt. The garden with wet cushions with ghekkos in ot, broken curtains, broken lamps,... The whole place was managed by... More
