The guesthouse was comfortable, friendly and functional in every way, and in between activities, it was utterly relaxing. It was easy to arrange other related things, like book a safe, regular taxi, go to the Pamoja Café and book safaris and tours.

Stayed at Pamoja for 2 nights before & two nights after our Kili climb in February 2014. Had a private double room with shared bathroom. Highly recommend! Really comfy beds, clean room and great common amenities. Located about a 20 minute walk outside of Moshi town center, it offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle and dust of... More

The pamoja guesthouse was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I had my own room with bathroom and felt safe and welcomed always. Leonie is the manager (and a volunteer as the proceeds go to the pamoja tunaweza womens centre and clinic) and she is a gem. I highly recommend staying here!

Leonie, the manager, was the most hospitable person that I met during a week long stay in Tanzania. As an ex-pat, she has plenty of foreigner-friendly advice, and was an amazing person to get to know. The guesthouse was clean, with large rooms, plenty of hot water, and incredible views of Kilimanjaro from the 2nd floor balcony. My room came... More

I don't even know where to begin in describing how wonderful of a place Pamoja Guesthouse is. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and inviting, and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Pamoja was our home away from home when we were not climbing Kilimanjaro or away on safari. We always felt safe and comfortable (Thank... More

I recently stayed here for 2.5 weeks while volunteering. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and quiet and the view of Kili from the balcony is fantastic. I found it very peaceful and relaxing, but enjoyed the close proximity to Moshi. Leonie, the manager was great. She was an excellent source of information on things to... More

We had the joy of staying at Pamoja the night before and after our Kili climb. The atmosphere and hospitality was beyond great. The Mama's made sure we were well fed and looked after, this without once dropping those truly genuine and sincere, smiles. The manager while we there was Leone. She truly made our stay. Never once complaining about... More

I stayed here for two nights: one before and one after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. My room was incredibly clean and quiet. The whole guesthouse is very relaxing and the breakfast is delicious. There is also a very communal atmosphere as guests hang out together on the balcony at night.
