This hotel is perfect for your stay before or after Kilimanjaro. In fact, I think all the guests I spoke to were hikers. I arrived late at night and was hungry from a 16 hour journey. I ordered a tomato/onion salad and pizza since they make them right there in their outdoor oven. It was delicious and made exactly how... More

We stayed here the night before Kilimanjaro and the night after. The hot water was unreliable (we couldn't get any at all on our first night), the lights in our bedroom didn't work, the service was mediocre, this hotel could do much better which what they have. The only plus was the wifi, but it was patchy and didn't work... More

We have planed to climb Kilimanjaro. So we have two nights here before or after mountain climb. Unit is cute but it is small place. Hot water is nice to have. Internet is slow. But breakfast is free to have. And also have swim pool and nice yard to have.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our Kili climb, and were displeased with the lack of hot water in the room. When we informed the receptionist, she informed us that one hot water unit is usually shared between 2 rooms, but our room (no. 102) happened to not be connected to any hot water unit! Although she then offered... More

We had a terrible experinece at Keys Hotel when we arrived to climb the mountain and was booked here. It appears the hotel is prefferred by the younger generation and can rather be classified as a Youth Hostel, since the lousy group kept us awake after midnight. The sicialicing firts started outside the bungalows and moved indoors after we complained.... More

I was meant to be staying at Keys for a 3 week business trip, the room was a tin hut and constant power issues meant that it would go pitch black with no warning. Most hotels in the area have UPS's and then backup generators to keep lights on etc. Keys doesn't - making it a bit of a pain... More

Hotel price point/value is very good and has what you want for pre & post Kili climb. Rooms & facilities are clean. Has an open area for dinner to rev up for the climb & just realx afterwards. Organsies day trips and overall very good value. Came recommeded by Kili operator....and fitted the part. Gave a 4* as it does... More

The bungalow is pretty nice and hot. Good thing the air conditioning system is working. You can enjoy a peaceful sunbath near the pool. Breakfast was okay. Good service. Too bad the wifi was not working.

We stayed at Keys Hotel before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. There are actually two Keys Hotels in Moshi. We stayed at the one that's referred to as the annex, which is farther away from town. There is a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro from the 2nd floor above the restaurant. We had a room in the main building, and... More

I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting when we came here, we were staying here for 1 night before and after climbing Kilimanjaro. My first thoughts were, 'I want to go back to Kenya to luxury' however on reflection it wasn't as bad as I first thought. When you have spent 5 nights in a wooden hut, ona matress... More
