The sea views are 5 star as is the breakfast. The rooms have all those little special extra touches which made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The gardens give the place a country feel. The hosts are very friendly. You cant go wrong by staying here. A short drive from the airport and Mossel Bay. The local restaurant... More

The towels are definately due for replacement- they are thin and did not smell fresh. The house also smelled badly of smoke. We were still hungry after breakfast. Overall, in our opinion, we expected more from a 4 star establishment.

Dear mr. van Rooyen. We truly apologise for not meeting your expectations. We are really trying our best to accommodate everybody and go through a lot of trouble to ensure that everything is clean, neat and in its place. We also do a different table decoration, different breakfast dish, different fruit plate and different freshly baked scones or muffins daily... More

I travel a lot and stay over at many places. My stay at Melkhoutkloof Guest House was one of those that I will always remember. I experience the hospitality of our hosts JB and Adri as something you will have to go a far way to experience anywhere else. We were part of the family - not guests. The breakfast... More

We stayed at this guest hous in Glentana for three nights. The guest house is managed by the owners and there's four clean and neat rooms. Three of them with a sea facing balcony. This is a beautiful location in the quiet and peaceful town of Glentana. Even during December the beach is peaceful with only a view people. We... More

Our family stayed for 2 nights at Melkhoutkloof and were very pleased we had. The home is very spacious and set on a quiet hillside section of the kloof, overlooking the ocean. It is spotless, and well appointed. The rooms are very comfortable and it is nice that there was a central area to gather and visit with others. There... More

An ideal stopover near George. It's a beautiful home over looking the Indian Ocean. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. Our room was perfect with wonderful views. Breakfast was excellent and they booked us a table at a very good, and reasonable, rea-staurant 6 km away (very easy drive)
