This is a wonderful place to stay. It is furnished superbly. The staff are very attentive and the food is excellent. Ria was away but the house ran with its usual efficiency and attention to detail. Nico provided excellent dinners. We have every intention of returning.

Our second visit ....this time we had Room 1 in the garden and it was excellent in every way. The decorating and equipping of the room has been done with great flair and attention to detail. It has a great collection of memorabilia and antiques as does the rest of the guest house. Breakfast served in the elegant dining room... More

This place is almost too nice. A gorgeous old home in the center of town (and a great town at that). I stayed in the Moroccan room -- lavishly decorated, a huge comfortable bed, a big tub for shower or jacuzzi, turn-down service (!), huge breakfasts, THE friendliest staff, gorgeous grounds (pool, hammock, hangout places...), not to mention a list... We stayed at Aaqtansisi on our way to the Southern Cape and found it to be an ideal base to explore the town and surrounding area. The rooms were interestingly decorated (although I am not sure about the slatted bathroom door) and the staff and owners were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good and we also decided to eat... More

AA'Qtansisi is well situated in the historic area of Graaf Reinet and close to restaurants. Our room was beautifully decorated in a moroccan style, full of cushions but not large enough for easy chairs – so to relax or watch TV you have to sit on the bed. One snag – the bed has been made into a 4-poster draped... More

We were welcomed with a complimentary soft drink and shown into our super large bedroom 1. Breakfast a treat, and the service from the staff exceptional. Would recommend to anyone going to Graaff-Reinet to stay at Aa'Qransisi for a few days to see all the lovely things in the area. God bless folk and keep up the super duper South... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners Pierre and Ria are friendly and go out of their way to ensure you get the most out of your stay. They are always on hand with a travel tip on what to do around town and where to go for a great meal etc. The house is lovely - Ria decorates all... More

What an amazing experience in this guest house in the small Karoo town of Graaff Reinet. Each room a different design & the personnel make you feel so at home. Everything about it, from the friendly owners, staff to the way food is served is really home from home. Something to experience!

I stopped here on my way from the Garden Route to Pretoria. Graaff-Reinet makes for a nice break, and the guesthouse the perfect accommodation. Lovely room, great food, and friendly service. During peak travel season, book early.
