I recently stayed at your establishment for a number of days (10-15 April). Since I had an early departure on the morning of the 15th April - I wanted to check out on the night of 14 April. This is a very common occurrence world wide. Due to work commitments I was only able to do this at 21:50. The... More

It was my first visit to Nigeria. It was my first experience in a non-drinking hotel (I have stayed in non smoking hotels). The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathroom was OK -- turning on the corner shower hosed down the entire room and there was no hot water in the morning., The WiFi is free. The electricity... More

I have always stayed in the Prince Hotel when visiting Kano but it has become very expensive. So I tried the Tahir. Spacious rooms, free wifi, and friendly/competent staff at reception. Represents much better value but if important to you, no alcohol is served, unlike at the Prince.

This is the first time ever, that I am rating hotel while I am still lodging there. But this hotel has really awed me. The have the rooms in A, B, C, etc "areas". You do not expect this but once the gate opens, you are ushered into a kind of royal driveway where green trees are mounting guard. Each... More

The first thing that strikes you, and then assaults your mind about TAHIR or TGP is the breathtaking and lavish use of space! But once you settle in, the ambience is empowering! It's got amazing facility..the restaurant, friendly room service and the gym..which has got an amazing trainer and then a wonderful manager who humbly prefers to refer to himself... More

Very Middle Eastern in its style. the rooms are good and spacious with a lot of quality. the staff are also friendly and approachable but a little reserved. the restaurant food is great but maybe needs more quality service from the staff. they don't have a functional swimming pool and that's a minus for me

Have stayed at the Tahir on several trips to Kano over the past 6 years and it feels like home when you go through the gates. The hotel is secure and safe. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there's a good gym, and the internet is reliable. Great staff who are always very helpful and friendly. Decent buffet, but order... More

The Staff Are Friendly And Helpful, Especially One Nasir Who Replies To My E-Mails Promptly. Their Internet Is Good And Fast, The Food Is Great, Gym Etc. However, There Is Room For Improvement In The Following Areas: *The Wardrobes... More

The hotel is named after its Lebanese owner, and he's not much off the mark, naming his guest house a 'palace'. It's quite big, with several different wings and who knows how many rooms. After a few days of travelling in Northern Nigeria, I wasn't expecting too much, but what i found was really an oasis to me. I remember... More

This is a nice place to stay if you r in kano. It's bit expensives but not a bad place for tourists. I could also mention Central hotel but i am not confident how is that hotel doing now...it used to be the palce to go in the late 80s and 90s. Same with Daula hotel..it used to be a... More
