The room I stayed in located in a new part of the hotel above the huge check in area was about 4 times larger than it needed to be. The bed itself could comfortably sleep 4 but still looked lost in the huge room which had a shiny tile floor and glitter on the walls! It was perfectly fine for... More

I don't know about other rooms, but where I stayed was quite roomy. Big and clean. I understand it's just been refurbished, that probably explains it. It's at a quiet, good part of town but the hotel can be chaotic atimes. The meals weren't exactly good either and it took forever to get room service. Apparently there is no free... More

Staff need training and re training. Wifi services although free only available in the lounge not inside the rooms. The other sections of the hotel need to be refurbished to be... More

The best hotel in kano. Recently renovated and upgraded. Very excellent management. Good food, spacious, very good security. Electricity and water 24 hours. Free wireless connection. Swimming pool and garden. I advise every one to visit and see for theirselves.

It is in a good part of town, very quiet place in a main residential area. Security in the place is top notch given events in the state in recent times. The place is quite cramped up. Parking is poor but notwithstanding, patronage seems high probably due to the moderate pricing. The food is a bit dear. The rooms are... More

As I went to Kano for the first time, I asked my friends and associates about a good hotel in Kano. Unanimously the answer was Tahir Guest Palace and I was pretty convinced about the place. Staff was very courteous and I was welcomed nicely as I reached the place, But the serious concerns I had are as below: a)... More

Always used to love staying in this hotel. Seems to have deteriorated over the years. Flies and mosquitoes all over the place and the rooms have a pungent smell. Restaurant used to boast of an excellent buffet, no longer. The meeting room had been unused for a while and not enough time had been given to clean the room in... More

Check in was smooth although hotel very busy, staff were friendly and courteous. Has an amazing Gym, dinner buffet was delicious. Internet ok, slow in the rooms but the back up connection in reception was fast. Have... More

A secure setting though parking inside the compound was difficult. Check-in was problematic as was check-out. Food presentation not very appealing. Staff not very attentive or helpful. Plugs and lamps in the room faulty and hot water kettle not working but no effort to change either after 3 requests. My room was very noisy. Not a lot of choice in... More
