We were met by a representative of the hotel in the Restaurant du Sud in Erfoud. We drove in convoy through Rissani and then left offroad along a 10km piste. We were actually heading a little further on when we chanced upon the Auberge Kasbah Said. It's in the desert south of Erfoud and not the easiest place to find. Take the minor road from the town centre that goes through the market area and over the river then drive past the fossil vendor places until the metalled road runs... more
