We arrived on our Cosmos tour of Morocco in the afternoon, for two days in Erfoud, September 15 and 16. We visited a factory where they made tables, etc. out of fossils embedded in marble. Very interesting and slow procedure cutting then polishing. Some people in our group went on a camel (actually a dromedary) ride in the Sahara dunes... More

We stayed 2 nights here in September on our Archers tour. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We liked the quirkiness of the hotel, none of the furniture and fittings matched and the shower was a bit slow but that didn't matter it all added to the atmosphere of the place. If we ever go back to Morocco... More

This hotel is out of town and not near to any particular sites, but is a good base to explore the sand dunes of the Sahara desert. The hotel is rather quirky with old furniture, but it is functional. WiFi access should be available in all rooms, but was only actually available in the hotel lobby. There was no fridge... More

-the kasbah appears to be quite authentic -it's located about 1km out of town -quiet place -ac was working fine and much appriciated -spacious room -friendly staff, including the night guard who picked us up from the night bus -good breakfast -tour organised by hotel was relatively expensive, like the room itself

we spent 2 nights here in May. the first night was ok as we arrived when it was dark and after being told to be in the restaurant in 15 minutes we found the showers didnt work in both rooms so we had to call the maintenance man. the food was ok but the staff were abrupt as we were... More

We stayed two nights at this family-owned property located on the outskirts of Erfoud, a small oasis town/former outpost of the French Foreign Legion, during our recent Moroccan tour. The property is built like one of the ubiquitous family fortresses (kasbahs) in this arid region of palm and tamarisk groves. The ample rooms are arrayed in two-story clusters radiating from... More

I went to Morocco on a Cosmos tour and this was by far my favorite hotel that we stayed at. It has charming written all over it from the doors to the courtyards to the pool. Mohammed and Hassan who basically run the place are great; friendly, funny, and keep their finger on the pulse. The hotel is ideally located... More

I spent here nice evening, sitiing near swimming pool / also inside .I have been living in Erfoud for almost a year , but never had opportunity to go here, even if i visited almost all resorts around city. Compared to other resorts in the area, this place seemed to be very calm .

We had been warned that the plumbing her would be "ify" at best. The room was hot and the heating set to 30 degrees, which I turned down and then could not get on again nor stop the fan blowing. The shower was a trickle but the towels were good - maybe they are never used! The atmosphere of this... More

We stayed here for two nights a part of a Moroccan tour. It’s the sort of place you will either love or hate. The hotel is built on a traditional theme with rooms decorated individually and traditional styles. The buildings are formed of two storeys round a central courtyard with pool. There is seating area and bar around the pool.... More
