We were on a Cosmos tour of Morocco. I’ll list the hotels we stayed at as this differed from those given by Cosmos at the time of booking: Marrakech – Opera Plaza Hotel; Casablanca – Ibis City Center; Fez – Zalagh Parc Palace; Erfoud – Kasbah Tizimi; Ouarzazate – Ibis Moussafir; finally returning to the Opera Plaza hotel in Marrakech.... Our first impression was very nice because the staff had sprinkled petals on our pillow and towel. However, it was cold that first night. We were placed in the back area which is probably wonderful in the hot summer. The bathroom and the bedroom had very dim lighting which I didn't care for. The water pressure is low and the... More

O.K. it is on the edge of the desert and a real delight to be offered for 2 nights on Cosmos tour. A taste of the Kasbah but it is also known for it's problems. Lovely room but hard to keep clean in dusty atmosphere. Quiet and good bed and slept well once heated. Could not keep room warm so... More

The hotel has a rustic charm and is an adobe built building in the kasbah style. Good points are staff are efficient, friendly and helpful and there is free wifi in the bar area, nice pool area and good evening buffet. However bad points rather outweigh the good sadly in that the building could do with refurbishment, floors uneven, torn carpets,... I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a 10 day Archers/Cosmos tour of Morocco. It is located outside of the main part of Erfoud. This is a family run hotel over two floors and mainly built around courtyard areas which lead off from the main courtyard with the reception entrance, separate bar and restaurant and on... More

Looks amazing from the outside and not disappointing on the inside, lovely pool area in the center. Due to location somethings may take time to work but this all adds to the rustic charm, our room was warm and clean, the dining room offered buffet meals, other food on the menu, as well as buffet breakfast. Excellent location for the... More

The most beautiful hotel staffed by helpful people. Comfortable, beautifully atmospheric & great food! Some power loss during the day in rooms & air conditioning units temperamental. The pool is a delight. Rooms are spacious & bathrooms are excellent. Definitely hope to revisit.

Hotel built to resemble an original Kasbah with rooms around courtyards facing inwards. Courtyards treelined and full of birds - a wonderful oasis in the desert! The relaxing pool area with bar and resident cats is a feature of this hotel and was well used by the guests. Room spacious but dusty and close inspection especially in the bathroom shows... More

This is a desert hotel, authentic furniture wash stand and dressing table made out of fossils, rooms clean bathroom needs some basic updating no plug in bath grouting gone around bath, Hotel is 20 years old but feels older. Food good nice staff, pool has free towels, not quite enough sunbeds. Drinks cheaper here that in other areas of morocco.... More

We arrived on our Cosmos tour of Morocco in the afternoon, for two days in Erfoud, September 15 and 16. We visited a factory where they made tables, etc. out of fossils embedded in marble. Very interesting and slow procedure cutting then polishing. Some people in our group went on a camel (actually a dromedary) ride in the Sahara dunes... More
