Tastefully designed building with traditional touch. Spacious room with balcony and garden view. Restaurant in the garden near to the pool. Very nice and helpful staff, esp. Fatima. Good overnight stay before exploring the desert in Merzougha.

In early May 2014 I stayed for five days in this lovely hotel. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the food is always good and, above all, the hosts were gracious and helpful al all times. It was great to dine in a shady garden near a delightful swimming-pool - and even in the cool of a conveniently-placed Berber... More

I visited this place on a business (yes, business) trip in October 2013. I was hardly in the hotel, but had all my meals there and the food was great. The hotel is big, clean, authentic and nice. The pool area is beautiful and i enjoyed breakfast by the pool everyday. Me and my team were the only guests at... More

A curious place indeed. The building is fine, including a very attractive swimming pool. The food was good (we had dinner and breakfast). But the service was so poor that it bordered on nonexistent. The room not only had no toilet paper, there wasn't even a holder where it should have been. When we asked for some at the front... More

This is a new hotel and feels fairly sterile. Clean spacious rooms and common areas. The pool area and garden are very nice. It had a bar/club on the grounds that looked nice, but we didn’t see anyone use. It had a pretty cool library filled with antiques. Dinner was tasty. It is outside Erfoud and fairly isolated.

We can confirm all the positiv reviews about the Ksar Assalassil, e.g. that it is really an enjoyable oasis with spacious rooms and a professional team. In order to not repeat everything that has already been said, we just want to add some great personal experiences: We had been picked up in Erfoud "downtown" by one of the employees, as... More

The hotel was nice and they tried to decorate it in the traditional style, but somehow it lacked soul. We stayed in a suite (as part of a packaged tour) so had plenty of room. However, it didn't feel all that special. Breakfast was ok. Wished we had more information about the area and the hotel. Dinner was not impressive,... More

My husband and I spent a night here in April and it was most enjoyable. It's a charming small hotel that has been constructed from local materials. Our delicious dinner was Moroccan and included a tagine. Breakfast was also quite good, especially the local square-shaped flatbread which was the best we had in our 18 days in Morocco. The local... We stayed for only one night, and arrived late in the evening and left in the morning, on our way to the desert. So please keep this in mind for this review. Of all the places we stayed in our 2 week trip, this was the least favorite. Positives- the room was clean, and very large. The hotel itself is... More

employee to spoil a hotel experience. We loved the setting of the Hotel Ksar, the gardens, the breakfast (dinner, not so much), the room, and having cable tv (a rarity in Moroccan riads) to catch some world news on CNN. A very kind man made us cafe au lait whenever we wanted it and it was fantastic. All the staff... More
