This kasbah is near the gateway to the western Sahara desert in Arfoud. Rooms are nice, food was very good and they have a wonderful swimming pool. Its' quiet location is on the outskirts of Arfoud and not very close to shopping or the town center. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wifi was free and best used around... More

Probably rates higher than a 3. For the area it is easily a 5. Rooms are nice, including a walk-in shower. Keys are horrible. They give you a key with a block of wood attached for you to carry. Also the doors do not automatically lock which means you have to lock yourself in at night. Bad if three is... More

We had a lovely visit here prior to going to the Sahara. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was adequate and had some interesting dishes. It was buffet so that service was not a problem. Considering where it is and the remoteness of the area, these folks do a fine job of running a hotel.

This is a great destination to see the Sahara and almost feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert which is all sand dunes and shrubs. The hotel is a nice mix of traditional Moroccan construction and modern comforts. The rooms are very nice but a little far from the restaurant and the main section of the hotel... More

We only stayed here one night but it was memorable. The food was buffet but delicious & they had nice wines on the menu. Rooms are delightful, shower had hot water, towels were clean, beds were comfortable. I highly recommend & would enjoy staying here again.

We were on a two week tour of Morocco and stayed at some outstanding hotels and this was not one of them. It's popular with the budget tour companies and for those going on an overnight tour to stay in a tent at the edge of the Sahara desert and there are not many choices of where to stay. The... More

Located on the edge of the Sahara, this place replicates a traditional kasbah. The rooms and common areas are spacious, as is the pool and its deck. Buffet meals are good. On the minus side, WiFi is only available in the bar and lobby, not the rooms, loud music plays in the central pool area through which you pass on... More

Driving down and through the Atlas mountains can be a little overwhelming, and scary, so it was lovely to find this very welcoming hotel. Beautiful swimming pools with surrounds that just call out to you to sit and relax. The rooms are a nice size and very nicely decorated in a modern Moroccan style, but I do have one word... More

This is the off season here and the chilly air draws fewer tourists. We shared this hotel with an OAT tour which left a lot of empty beds. We found our room to be spacious and comfortable. The service was very good. The buffet supper we deemed adequate. We skipped the swimming pool which looked inviting if the temperature had... More

After a long travel day, it felt good to arrive at this hotel and be greeted with some mint tea at check-in. The main lobby is very attractive with a gift shop, large bar, several TV lounges and a large dining room. The guest rooms are located in several separate wings with a beautiful pool located right in the middle... More
