What a find! We spent one night here on the way to Nakuru (for work) and felt totally pampered and relaxed. Beautiful home and great food. Dea and her staff are lovely. The pool and grounds are fabulous and you can read by the fire at night.

Dea's Gardens is a special place with special people. Our group of five stayed for two nights in the spotless and comfortable cottages. The grounds are as beautiful as they look in the pictures, and the house is gorgeous. Everyone went out of their way to make our visit pleasant - excellent food (soup at dinner to die for,) pleasant... More

stayed in February, all eight of our group were impressed from the moment we arrived. Very friendly and relaxing excellent food and good advice and help on where to visit. Would highly recommend as a welcome alternative to any hotel.

The guest house is so nice! It is very relaxing coming from the hustle of Nairobi. The food is amazing and she catered to our dietary concerns. We ate and chatted with Dea every night. We walked all around the property. We saw hippos. It was great! She helped us figure out things that we would like to do during... More

My Kenyan wife and my French self discovered Dea's Gardens on the Web. We decided to embark on a Xmas escapade (2 nights) with our 4 kids (12, 10, 4, 1) + my wife's niece (9). We had a perfect time at this remarkably friendly guest house run with great style by Dea (the owner) and her daughter Lisa. They... More

I decided to enjoy New Year Eve with Dea in her guesthouse. All rooms were accupied and around the tables, there were many guests. Dea and Lisa, her daughter welcomed everyone with a coupe of Champagne. As a guesthouse, all the guests sat in the same long table with the kids in one end. Brits, Irish, Australian and French with... More

Dea's gardens is an elegant guesthouse in a peaceful area near all the best attractions of the Naivasha area. The atmosphere was welcoming and tranquil, and the food was excellent. Dea treats everyone like family, so it's almost like staying with a grandmother you didn't know you had in Kenya. We were able to take a public bus from the... More

We just can't get enough of this beautiful guesthouse. As always Dea was there to welcome us and was so helpful in providing wonderful food for our son who has multiple allergies. I think it is possibly the nicest house in Kenya, After Nairobi, it is a truly tranquil experience :)

After you've stayed here all subsequent places seem inferior, so I strongly suggest that you leave it to the last. We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time - read what others have written. Bobby slept outside our door too so maybe we had the same accommodation. During our stay we walked in Hell's Gate, climbed Mount Longonot... More

We stayed here for one night to have a break from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. The excellent reviews on Tripadvisor combined with the suitability for kids made us choose Dea's Gardens. The setting is pretty and the swimming pool and banda were lovely as was Joseph who was very friendly from start to finish. Unfortunately we cannot say... More
