We stayed for 2 nights at Dea's Gardens in Naivasha after a safari trip with our family; we had 3 rooms, including the 2 very quaint cottages on the grounds. It was a lovely spot and the wonderful hostess, Dea, and her staff (Joseph in particular) made our stay perfect. We enjoyed the gardens, complete with hot tea and cake... More

I spent only one night at Dea's but it was a pleasant as it can get. Very homy, beautiful settings, kind staff and very good food! I find Dea's garden as a perfect alternative to overrated hotels and resorts within the area. I find Dea's garden a very good place/base for exploring the southern part of Lake Naivasha.

We were 2 families of 4 and everyone thought this was an incredible find. The kids enjoyed the pool, adults the gracious staff and everyone raved about the food. We did a boat tour nearby which was good if you like birding but just sitting in the gorgeous garden was great bird watching for the average person. Don't miss this... More

We stayed for two nights with my sisters family and my family. Right from the moment we stepped out of the car we were catered for in the best possible way. Dea and her staff were attentive and professional at all times. Dea herself dined with us every evening which was delightful, and they arranged for a babysitter for my... More

The location is nice, the rooms are ok, nothing special, the lady is lovely and food is ok. The place (and its rate) pretends to look like a boutique hotel, although it is not. I'm sure that you can get better value for money either going somewhere else and paying the same, or staying at Dea's and get a cheaper... More

Good place to rest, relax and gather your thoughts. I visited the lodge during the week, when it was nice and quiet. The grounds are beautiful and well tended, and it was mostly me and the birds. The owner Dea and the staff (Omari, Mama Leah, Beth etc) went the extra mile to ensure that my stay there was very... More

Stayed here for one night in April 2014. Evening meal was okay, There was a strange fish for starter, nobody liked it. The main course was nice however, fish also. Bedrooms are nice and comfortable, There were not mosquito nets which was the only downside as this property is in a forest. Nice bathroom with hot water. Nice pool outside... More

Deas Gardens are beautiful and a haven with well maintained pool and beautiful chalet style house. The meals provided are quite exceptional and the staff attentive and kind. Evening meals are taken with the hostess and have a semi-formailty about them. Fine for an evening but questionable beyond this. The location is perfect for Hell`s gate and near Nakuru Park,... We had a great stay here recently. This place is excellent to bring your entire family. Anybody aged 1 to 100 will enjoy the grounds and gardens. Our toddler enjoyed the dogs, rabbits, chickens, turtles, as well as swings and sandbox! The charming garden is great for photos!
