We stayed at this Lodge for only one night, unfortunately, but it was all worth it. They have great dining, right from breakfast all through to dinner. The reception team is very welcoming. The property is set on a large track of land and there are plenty of attractions nearby, if you're on holiday.

Was looking forward to a great experience of nature on the shores of beautiful Lake Naivasha in Rift Valley, Kenya, after a hard week's work in Nairobi and Addis. Drove out from Nairobi and discovered Sawela Lodge among a row of lodges on the lake. Having settled into my room I found myself surrounded by loud, thumping music. Thought it... More

We stayed at Sawela in March 2015 for about two weeks and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Even though we were in an academic session, the management made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed the sites in the vicinity. Then came the unforgettable surprise dinner party they organised for us. The isukuti was the icing on the cake. The food... More

I and my partner attended a wedding function here so stayed on for three nights. The service and facilities are absolutely fantastic thanks to their team of dedicated staff which could be seen right down to an individual level for each staff. We could not find anything wrong with this place. Let's speak first about the wedding function. The hotel... More

Wonderful hotel for a holiday getaway not far from Nairobi. The rooms are nice and clean. The buffet is good though the dessert could use some improvement in variety and quality. The hotel is located near several landmarks in the great rift valley. One area of urgent improvement is the sleep quality. In the days we slept at the hotel... More

I only stayed here for one night, just passing through the area. The room was very spatious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The dinner buffet was ok - but with quite limited vegetarian options (the grilled vegetables were excellent however). The staff at the hotel were all VERY friendly and helpful.

Had two unforgettable nights. Peaceful, beautiful, child friendly and wonderful staff. The food was also amazing and someone washed our car :) Just didn't understand why we couldn't have our own drinks around the bonfire which is away from the bar :(

A great place for relaxation for the entire family. We didn't know what to expect but the place turned to be a beautiful lodge with lots of space and activities for the children. The staff were also very polite and friendly and whenever we needed anything, they would help. Their meals are also good. We will definitely go back there... More
