This place is actually very expensive for the standard of room and quality of food provided. The room was made of sone so was very cold. The double beds are very small and tge bathroom was not 100% clean. The quality of food is not up to kenyan standards especially as their price is on par with most lodges in... More

Kudos to Klaus Schroeder, his wife and the whole Mount Longonot Lodge team for making our vacation something to remember. The Lodge is for sure worth a visit and entirely worth the price (we paid 8500 KES each a night for two parents with our 3 year old twins lodging and eating free). The Lodge is situation on a hilltop... More

This is our fourth visit to the lodge. Compared to all other places we've been to, this one's beauty and serenity is the best! All round are fantastic views of Lake Naivasha, Hells Gate Park, Mount Longonot, vast grasslands & plains with the backdrop of hills. Rooms are spacious with unique décor all owner's creation. The beds are so comfortable we... More

Beautiful place to just relax, go hiking at Mt. Longonot, do a boat tour on Lake Naivasha, go biking at Hells Gate NP... We enjoyed staying there for 3 nights! The rooms are very comfortable, the food was always fresh and divers, Klaus is a great host and he knows perfectly well how to make adults and children always feel... More

The problem with Longonot Ranch House is that you become so relaxed that its difficult to get back into NBO life again, Its the place to just chill, as its so quiet. This has to be one of our favorites in Kenya and the food is among the best in the Country. No choice, but well balanced, fresh tasting meals.... More

We have spent several weekends at Mount Longonot Lodge and we just love the place! The view from the lodge is wonderful - you can see both Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate NP and Mt Longonot. Our favorite accomodation is the cottage, which has two bedrooms, a living room area with a fireplace and a lovely veranda with a gorgeous view.... More

We have now visited Longonot Ranch House twice. Both times were exactly what we wanted. Time away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi as well as crowded tourist destinations. With it's wide open spaces, it was a great opportunity to do many things with our children and friends. We brought some sports equipment and utilised the space by playing... More

What a wonderful place. Even the drive up to the lodge was like a mini safari with zebras, giraffee, gazelle, etc. When we first arrived we were welcomed with cold juice and a wonderful lunch on the veranda. Afterwards we had a lovely horseback ride through the ranch with our kids then our host watched our children as my wife... More

We spent three days at the Longonot Ranch House (Mt Longonot Lodge), Naivasha, Kenya with our son and daughter in law. It was excellent. The location and view are great (at least once you get there - the "roads" are typical Kenya bush roads). The cottage was excellent ambience and very comfortable. The personnel and service were great from the... More
