We stayed in the Fish Eagle In for two nights in January 2015. We stayed in the standard room. The room was small but o.k., unfortunately not very clean (cigarette ash in the floor of the bathroom). The restaurant as its food was good, the service average. If you are there you should check out the hippos at the fisherman... More

Excellent hotel with good, clean rooms with nets and chemical insect repellent and toilet and hot shower. Nice pool, great restaurant (food and service). The staff is exceptional! They (especially Esther at the reception) will go beyond the limits to make your stay an excellent experience. I have never experienced such!

We stayed here as part of a tour. The grounds are well maintained and clean, all staff are warm and friendly. There is a large bar and restaurant which were clean and tidy. The rooms were clean and spacious but the showers were inconsistent for both pressure, heat and our drain became blocked regularly. All in all though I would... More

Long weekend camping with buddies of mine. Tranquil location for a quiet get away. The restaurant has decent food and a pool (small but ok). Charges are fair and it is close to a shopping centre where you can get basic items- meat, flour, coal, firewood etc. Grounds are relatively small so if full go to the next camp (shares... More

Excellent rooms and a great location, along with good service and a good bar. There wasn't much more you could ask of this place. Situated along Lake Naivasha, I'd recommend Fish Eagle Inn unreservedly to anyone travelling to the area. Just minutes away from Elsamere (of Born Free fame), Green Crater Lake and Hell's Gate National Park, location is excellent.... More

I stayed here with a group of over 20 people from the region for a two days conference. We didnt get any complaints. I myself enjoyed the friendly service, the food was good (a varied buffet) and I had the pleasure of being put in one of the suites. As i arrived a day early, I even enjoyed the (somewhat... More

We were camping on tents on the lawn, but I noticed they were completing a new kitchen/dining area, etc. So starting in July 2014, should be nice. They have a buffet dinner, which looked good. Wifi works, slowly, I think they were improving that too. right on the Lake, but no lake view.

I visited over the madaraka holiday weekend and i was told the rooms were full except one room for two they were charging 18000Ksh for which was a total ripoff and an insult at the same time. For that amount of money i would have booked myself a room at the luxury lodges/resorts nearby. My friends had already booked rooms which were... A friend and I arrived at Lake Naivasha and decided to camp at Fish Eagle Inn for the night (we showed up on Valentine's Day weekend without reservations, so many places in the area were booked, oops!). While part of the hotel's outdoor area is beautiful and well cared for, I was surprised and disappointed to find piles of trash... More

My boyfriend and i camped at the Fish eagle inn over the Easter holiday. We got there and paid for a tent, 2 mattresses and blankets but we had to wait for about 45 minutes in the dark for the tent to be brought to us, and when it finally came it smelled damp and mouldy inside. The mattresses were... More
