We came here for lunch after walking around crescent island. Was very impressed with the home freshly prepared food. The creations were inventive, showed a fabulous use of ingredients, and also, great skills of the chef(s). There were quite a few dishes, laid out as a buffet, mainly salads including butternut squash, roasted aubergine, and I forget the rest, but... More

We were 3 women, two toddlers and a couple. Overall an amazing place. They were so accommodating with food and meal times with us and the children. It is beautiful with all the wildlife out the door. Great for kids to run and play. Ideal with toddlers. The rooms are simple but nice, my room had low lighting, but otherwise... More

What a fantastic place! Wildlife all around, peace, quiet, great food, great service, friendly people, nice rooms and lots of fun stuff to do. We went to the hot springs at Hells Gate NP and on a boat trip. You can also go horse riding and other stuff. The only thing to be improved is the WIFI: slow and only... More

Sanctuary Farm is an incredibly peaceful easy get-away from Nairobi. The food - especially at lunch - is phenomenal - the food is fresh, creative and varied. (And what a cheese board!) The grounds are beautiful and calm - and it's a treat to be that close to animals. The one note of caution however is that the rooms are... More

10 out of 10! Wonderful for all ages. My husband and I and 3 kids (8, 11, 14) met my cousin and her fiancée there. We stayed in the rooms and camped one night. Both accommodations were wonderful. Incredible way to start our 3 week adventure. Walk with zebras, monkeys, wildebeest, antelope and giraffes. Eat amazing food! Take a boat... More

The food is amazing.. the scenery from the restaurant is amazing... the peace, the serenity is amazing. Fun activities for the whole family are to be found in Horse Riding and watching the dairy farming activities. However please be aware, that if you are particular about basic luxury like comfortable bedding and good bathrooms then you may need to recalibrate... More

Great place with a fantastically laid back feel. Granted this is not a "professional" hotel, but neither does it market itself as such. Our interconnecting room for four was fantastic, showers were hot and rooms nicely cleaned. Of course there are Mosquitos around, you are by a lake!!! If you don't like, or can't tolerate a few insects, then you... More

Just love Sanctuary farm...! Super easy to get there.... Stunning views of vulcanoes, hills, lake & game. Lots of game! Grazing on your door step.Food is divine, proper fusion kitchen with the best local products and proper touch of 'river café-cuisine'. Rooms rustique and elegant a la France, creating a proper down time environment.... And when done with your book... More
