We camped there for 3 or 4 nights so we can only review the camping ground and facilities. This camping has a good location, not far from Hell's gate by bike and in a reasonable time you can reach crescent island. It is really near to the lake and we could see hippos in the night, this was AMAZING!! Facilities... More

Stayed in a 6 person banda in bottom camp, comfortable enough, with good mozzie nets, beautiful location near the lake. Restaurant surprisingly reasonably priced compared to other places in the area, 6-700 KES for a hearty main and food was good enough. All in all the best value and most fun of the camps I've been to around Naivasha.

The atmosphere at the bar was nice as was the food, but we were left underwhelmed by the accommodation and prices. There are better options for the same price nearby. Having said that if you want remote and peaceful, then the top camp is definitely that.

My friend and I camped here for 2 nights. The scenery is amazing as you are right on the edge of Naivasha Lake. We actually found the staff very welcoming and helpful and they put our tent up within 15 mins. Yes the tents were a bit dirty and cramped but what do you expect for about £8 a night... More

The camping experience at Fisherman's is quite basic but a good way of spending time with friends, within a very reasonable budget. But 1. there lacks co-ordination between fisherman's camp and top camp when it comes to confirming bookings. We were meant to stay at top camp and had booked via phone, only to find when we arrived that our... More

The place is really beautiful, but it's impossible to sleep there! Too many mosquitos!! the place is also very expansive with no reason.. didnt enjoy staying there and moved to YMCA next by, which is so much better!!

Interesting place to go for camping. Had gone there with my fiancee and a friend and the whole outdoor camping thing was totally awesome. Other than the noise coming from the restaurant on ground it is quite ok. They got all the ammenities needed when camping even hot showers... As long as you go early in the morning... Boat rides... We camped for two nights here with our overland outfitter. We loved the location and the grounds. It's right on the water so you can hear hippos in the evening (don't worry, you're not in danger). The squat toilets surprised a few but there were also thrones available as well. Regardless of your preference, they were clean. Basic, but clean.... More

Pleasant surprise. The drive there was smooth, roads are pretty decent. When we got there our tents we're set up within 20 minutes but these we're all damp and dirty. After requesting for about 3 replacements we gave up and settled on one. The camp offers one blanket per person which is grossly inadequate since it does get quite chilly... More

The camp is as close to the shoreside as it's possible. Huge area where you can put up your tent or you rent one. I rented one which was good enough, but for the price they charge they could get something better. Tents are very old and look dirty. There are showers and toilets, but the cleanliness could definitely be improved. Restaurant... More
