This was our least favorite place during our 11-day safari. The banda we stayed in was small and not the cleanest, and the customer service was lacking. I did enjoy the wood fired pizza--my husband wished that he had also tried the pizza as his fish meal was not good. The breakfast was not the best either. We were glad... More

I stayed in the campsite with a couple of friends in our own tent. I had emailed Carnelly's a couple of weeks before our trip to ask about rooms and they gave me a very quick response and were very helpful in their email. We had initially wanted to book a banda but as we made our enquiries a little... More

It seems the best deal is to camp here. Although the reservation I had made for two bunks in the dorm was totally disregarded when a larger group needed the space, the twin room they forced us into was OK. The mosquito nets do have large holes and the bathrooms are a short walk from the rooms. The bathrooms are... More

The dorms look bug infested and have no mosquito nets. They are dirty. The management is least concerned about the complaints of those who stay here. Do not be surprised if you book the dorms as a group and find someone in those rooms. If you do, please prepare to share.

Worst form of customer service i have ever experienced, not worth even half a penny. the person who handles inquiries...pathetic. First made inquiries about the rooms, and the responses were sketchy and far in between, finally at their reccomendation on what i should book, i asked for a picture of the room...which was clearly not available on the website. The email... More

We moved here after an awful night at Fishermans camp next door. It's a bit more expensive but the "banda" we got was on a whole other level. It seemed to be a horse trailer or caravan that had been converted and it had 1 double and 2 single beds with clean sheets and a private bathroom with a proper... More

The location and the scenery are beautiful. Its located directly on lake Naivasha, with lots of possibilities to spend time outside. The room categories greatly vary. There are beautiful appointed super expensive bungalows with huge bathrooms and terraces and comfy beds. The bunalows vary also in price and size and age. There are some small double / twin rooms as... More

I stayed here for four nights, three nights in a twin room and the last night (Saturday night) they setup an army tent for me since the Twin Rooms for the weekend we all reserved. The place was very quiet during the week and came to life on the weekend. Twin room was perfect, although they do need to replace... More

stayed for one night in a new banda, which is actually small red clay houses. but cozy! has everything necessary. hot water is good. very natural beautiful big garden, just by the lake, not much human decoration. just naturally good. modern is not the word for it as for the hotels. but wildly nice it is! and pocket friendly!

We took a flying visit to Carnelley's with a view to staying there another time. We thought that it was a very nice place and the bar and restaurant was done out superbly. We are looking forward to our stay.
