I have stayed here before and I can see that things are on improvement then before.. Rooms the TV Chanel's are more then before so the kids stay occupied.. The Manager and the Chef Emanuel were both very friendly and helped us out in many ways .. The special vegetarian food made just for us was amazing

Kudos to GM Edwin and his team for making our Easter weekend a great one! Everything from the room to the food and to the exceptional customer service is really appealing! Great views with good activities around. Not to be missed! Simply outstanding!

We stayed in April 2015. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the extensive gardens. There were zebra, giraffe, buffalo and waterbuck galore and a host of birds. The gardens were lit at night and the animals were grazing right outside the room. The food was delicious...good choices and fresh. The interior of the communal areas was tastefully done out.... Spent one night here as the second stay of my safari in East Kenya. The accommodation was truely breathtaking, I stayed in room 44, sooo spacious and fantastic views from the balcony although, apart from a couple of birds and a shy white tailed mongoose (only saw its tail) I did not see any other wildlife within the grounds

I have visited both the Sopa lodge and the next door Simba lodge at lake Naivasha. Both are more or less at the same level with some advantages and disadvantages to each. All and all i liked the Simba better. The Pros for Sopa: The main building is unique, The staff is extremely friendly, The views and grounds are very... More

The Sopa Naivasha Resort is a fantastic place. The staff are friendly, the food is good but the rooms are a little tired and could do with some sprucing up. Our favourite was watching the wildlife grazing on the lawn in the evenings! There is free wifi although it may not get to your room - we were in 42... More

The lodge seems to be losing its charm. The rooms are very sub standard. Lighting is very poor and so is the beddings. For the rate it demands the expectations were slightly more. The shower is not so great. On the positive note. The location is amazing, very quiet and peaceful, breakfast was great and the chef is ready to... More

We stayed one night at the Sopa Resort on the advise of our safari guide. We were pleasantly surprised. Not only did they have spacious accommodations, the view was amazing. At night they have lights on and you can watch the animals grazing. We saw water buck, zebras and a hippo. During the day we saw an incredible array of... More

In October 2014, myself, three colleagues from the UK and 3 kenyan colleagues stayed at the hotel for 6 weeks. This was a particularly long stay as most guests only stay one or two nights as part of a safari stop over. We were there as we were working in a town nearby and not staying for pleasure. On our...
