After touring historic sites and the Ruma National Park and staying in campsites and roughing it, this was a nice way to end our vacation in the nice tented campsite. The service was good, tented rooms with door, beware of mosquitoes but the management has ensured each room has repellant for you to apply and also an electric mosquito repellant... More

I spent 2 nights at Kiboko Bay with my daughters and we loved it during summer of 2007. We stayed in one of the small tented bungalows with attached bathroom. The rooms are ok with a bed and some seats, nothing more nothing less but clean with all necessities. The resort is right down to Lake Victoria with a wonderful... More

I have dined in the restaurant at Kiboko Bay several times. Although the ride out to the bay may be a little bumpy, it is worth it! The menu whilst basic, provides well cooked food and the cocktails are fantastic. The views of Lake Victoria are beautiful and the pool provides luxurious relief from the Kisumu heat. Remember your mosquito... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Kiboko Bay and really loved it. There are only a handful of small private tented bungalows for guests to stay in, so the resort never felt very crowded. Wonderful tented rooms with attached bathrooms and sitting rooms. The resort is right on the edge of Lake Victoria, a quick taxi ride from... More

We stayed in a small suite with a sitting area and pantry. The room was just a few metres from the water's edge and very clean and comfortable. The weather was much warmer than in Nairobi and so the air-conditioning was very welcome. Hippos that live in the lake, climb onto land after dark in order to graze. We could... More
