Good value for money compared to Accra, but a little overpriced for Kumasi and it doesn't have a gym?????? They allowed me to check in early straight off the early morning flight from Accra and the service was very friendly.

I have only been here for lunch and i have to admit that the restaurant was really sub-standard. I ordered a small sandwich (ghs25!) And my colleague ordered fish. My order took 30minutes to arrive and we had to ask at least 3 times where the fish was ... it finally arrived after an hour of waiting. The quality of... More

My room was in the bottom floor of the annex and had a moldy/smoky smell. The room was very worn and felt damp and dirty. That being said, this hotel is very fancy for Ghana: large hotel, large lobby, pool deck with evening music (too loud for dinner conversation so we ate inside). My room was large with good air... My last review in 2008 was a good one. This stay was not as good I am afraid. Here is the letter of complaint that I had to write: Dear Sir I am writing to complain about my stay in your hotel for one night on 1st February 2014. I have four complaints: -My stay started with ordering lunch in... More

I stayed here last year for a week, and did the same this Februari, The rooms are clean, the bed mattress is hard, but this is the norm in this part of the world (I actually like a hard bed). The service is spotty, especially in the dining room (too much staff just standing around). The f9d is pricey for... More

This is a very large hotel property and I believe my room was in an older wing of the hotel as it was quite a long walk from the main reception area. My bed was quite comfortable and the room reasonably clean. The hotel supposedly has wifi but I could not get it to work anywhere. Also, various signs in... More

First impression was good and probably the best Hotel in Kumasi. However. When you used the mens room, you could hardly stop the water. Nothing in the fridge, few channels working and food was average. Breakfast was like if you go to a local hotel. The normal cheddar cheese and the soft cow cheese, no jam or ham and bread... More

Very nice getaway in Kumasi. Comfortable rooms in a large hotel complex that is easy on the eye. Nice beds / duvets / pillows. Good bathrooms. Clean. Decent food available in the restaurant and friendly staff. Lots of facilities. Casino is a bit rubbish though. Loads of taxis around but well set back from the road so it's quiet.

This is the premier hotel in Kumasi and it is boastful about it. Price is high, but in line with comparable hotels in Ghana. Whole country is currently ridicuously ovepriced. Hotel is not living up to its own standards. Maintenance and general quality is average to poor, with a lack of attention to do better. Just for my room: loose... More
