Stayed for 5 nights, but had some few difficulties. The double bed was as hard as a stone and was very low. The pipe connected to the sink was detached and water spilled on the floor. Breakfast was nice but dinner was sometimes limited. One night he only food served was 3 types of rice if you opted for the buffet.... More

I have been working in the hospitality industry for 10 years and I have NEVER encountered such terrible restaurant service as I have in the past week at Golden Tulip Kumasi City. Terrible. The buffet is rarely restocked and when it is, new is put on top of old. By 9:30pm, the food has been sat out on warm trays... More

I began to have a feel of hotel right from when I landed Kumasi Airport. The hotel driver who picked me up was very courteous. The staff went beyond my expectations to make me comfortable. I had a need for a rare shaving cream, and this was sourced for me from a drug store the city. This is certainly close... More

The Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi City provided me with excellent accommodations, service and cuisine during my recent trip to Kumasi. It is a luxury hotel with comfortable, clean and spacious rooms; tasty and safe menu items (even for a vegan vegetarian like myself; bottled and filtered water is used); and a professional, friendly and very helpful staff. It has... More

I really loved the place, I stayed in on of the chamber and it felt like home. The surroundings n serene there was just amazing. It was ma first time in kumasi and they made homey for me. The decors , bed to bathroom were just so on point. I also chanced on the Manager there called Sam, an amazing... More

Been in Ghana for 6 years so know what to expect, however this hotel was worse than imagined. Facilated a conference for 30 people. We were squeezed into a tiny room and the only person who was nice was a guy named Raymond. Front desk staff terribly unfriendly and no one helped us to the room - which we couldn't... More

Arguably the best in Kumasi. International standards without a doubt in some areas. Visit with friends to have the occasional meal and enjoy the ambience. Service though still needs to be upped. Waiters are not always responsive to customers especially in the lounge/bar. Customer service needs some fine tuning.

First and foremost the hotel itself is very very nice. It is clean, nice furnishings, has an indoor and outdoor bar, a big pool, a night club, and decent size rooms. My critiques for the hotel include the slight attitude from the staff, the electricity cuts off in your room when you leave (thereby turning off the refrigerator and spoiling... More

The hotel while pretty nice, can be really 'boring', so its advisable only if your stay is one or 2days, not advisable at all for a vacation. Also l think the hotel is also under a false illusion that being the best/biggest hotel in town (Kumasi) there present service quality is the best they can offer. I think they should... More

In its attempt to be so good or the best, this hotel obviously failed. Musty carpets, broken dustbins, ancient noisy room refrigerators, ridiculously arranged toiletries, and instead of a bed you get a plank with (clean) sheets on it. The food (we had one dinner buffet) is bland and tasteless, and staff a bit careless in arranging and serving. You... More
