When you pull up to the Green House Hotel and walk into the lobby, you feel like you have been transported back in time to the set of the movie "Casablanca". Though quite dated and in need of some redecorating, (which is part of it's charm), the hotel has many modern amenities. There is free WiFi in the lobby and... More

There is no fire detection system or sprinkler system. The food is not safe to eat and is fingered by the staff and has flies landing on it. The rooms (I saw 5 different rooms) are all filthy, even the bed sheets had stains and hairs in them. The balcony doors have no locks. There is an army APC parked... More

If possible avoid to go in Green house hotel Suez. I believe is one of the worst hotel of the world. Extremely dirty .The service is very poor and the food is terrible. Do not go there, otherwise you will spend very bad time.

As a business trip to Suez(from Japan), there are olly 3 hotels in Suez: Red Sea Hotel, Summer Palace Hotel, and Green House. I can't speak Arabic but can speak English well. However, Any staff can't speak English well and they are all ridiculous. At first, it has a really poor internet connection(Especially my iPhone). as other reviewers said, and... More

I stayed in this hotel when on business and couldn't believe the state of it. The staff were always on the take wanting money each you spoke to them for doing job. The swimming pool wasn't working which was probably a blessing judging by the state of the rest of the hotel. I had a room over looking the main... More

Used this hotel as a base for a day and gladly didnt have to stop the night! I was pestered from the minute I walked in the place, they were after money for nothing and cigarettes. Very aggressive. The one and only bell boy was sent with another persons cases and I was told that I must wait for him... More

September,2010 with a group from Australia, Europeans originally from Suez. It would appear that these people have not learned what cleanliness is even after 50 years. The bathroom was smelly and disgustingly dirty with a footprint in the bath tub, indicating that it had not been cleaned before our arrival.Food was of very poor standard and had a number of our... Stayed one night in December 2011, and ate at the resturant (Lunch and Breakfast). Food quality - cooked meat dishes nice, but breakfast terrible and the scrambled eggs cooked for me made me sick within seconds of eating them. Room - basic but filthy carpets (they dont vacum the carpets behind the doors) and the bath/shower was very very grimey... More
