Hidden treasure has a lot of potential if the owner would fix the power situation. Probably the closest lodging to the power station on Tanna yet the electrical system was going in and out which also affected the water pressure. The staff is very pleasant and the food is well prepared and tasty. The location is exceptional with interesting rock... More

We (a family of 5 with 2 boys aged 2 and 6 years, parents and grandmother spent 8 nights at Hidden Treasure after our reservation at Rocky Ridge was lost. It offers basic accommodation but was an amazing place to stay. It has one of the few sandy beaches on Tanna, and we were able to swim and snorkel with... More

We stayed 2 nights aht the Hidden Treasury Bungalows in September 12. It was the quiet season, we were the only guest and were very well looked after. The bungalows are basic and the bathroom would need cleaning but the location is great, right on the beach and very quiet. Every bungalow has a small shaded terrace with a table... More

We stayed here when our other booking on Tanna was cancelled at short notice - but were very happy with this alternative. Tucked well back from the road, it's very quiet and faces directly onto the beach. There's fascinating rockpools to explore at low tide, great snorkelling along the edge of the reef, and shady trees to sit beneath in... More

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful spot - the hosts are so very very kind - Martha and Tom are treasures themselves. The bungalow was tidy and nicely set, the bathroom needed a bit of modernity that's true but the gardens and the whole spot, the big kindness of the hosts so disarming that the place is highly to... Compared to other bungalows on Tanna both the room rate (2500 VT pp) and the single course meal price (1000 VT pp for dinner) was higher than we expected. We would recommend the 20 minute walk in to Lenakel where you can either purchase supplies or eat at any number of small restaurants for 300 VT pp. We went to... More

We had just come from staying on Mystery Island, Aneityum so the ensuite bathroom, running water and electricity seemed positively luxurious. The bungalows are set in pretty, well kept gardens, very close to the sea. Glorious sunsets create a wonderful backdrop to the evening meal in the restaurant. Martha was a gracious and attentive hostess, cooking up delicious vegetarian food... More

We arrived New Years eve and stayed at Hidden Treasures for 2 nights (wish it was longer). Martha and Tom were great hosts – Martha is an excellent cook, and Tom is a humorous and informative tour guide (Both speak very good English). Nothing was too much trouble, and we were excited when they offered to take us to their... More

If you make it all the way to Tanna, its safe to say you are not there by accident. It took me three days traveling to go from New York City to Tanna. The day before I emailed Tom & Margret to let them know when my flight arrival. Tom was there to pick me up from the airport and... More

you can really feel welcome and at your ease. All the family is here for helping you to discover the island and the inhabitants. And when you come back for dinner, you are delighted to see your plates arriving : organic, tasteful.... yam yam ! Never hesitate !
