If you're looking for the muslin-draped bed, twin basin bathroom and towels so fluffy they won't fit into your suitcase (as the joke goes) then Bokissa is not for you. What Bokissa delivers in spades is complete relaxation, accommodation in a comfortable fare and some of the best resort food I've ever tasted. The beach is Robinson Crusoe pristine -... More

We weren't really sure what to expect when booking at Bokissa as it seemed to be very low key. Wow! were we blown away that such a laid back place can deliver such a quality break. Right from the start of our booking experience we should have guessed this place might be special. The booking response came back overnight with... More

We've have been lucky enough in past few years to get to numerous ‘out of the way’ resorts in the Far East islands & Philippines, mainly for diving, and since relocating to Australia we have been seeking an ‘easy to get to’ locations where we can unwind, relax, avoid the hassles, swim in blue waters, relax on clean sandy beaches,... Just returned from 6 nights at this amazing resort and am already missing it! The island is beautiful and relaxing, the food was wonderful and the staff were friendly and very helpful! I'd never snorkeled before, but gave it a go and am so glad I did. I got a flight from Melbourne to Sydney, Sydney to Port Villa, then... More

We have just come back from 6 days on Bokissa and despite the weather not being the best, we had a great holiday. I read a few reviews before writing this one and have to agree with another person, you go to Bokissa for a 5 Star holiday experience, not a hotel rating. The snorkling off the beach was amoung... Recently back from 6 nights at Bokissa Island, and I am having trouble deciding what I miss most. The food is incredible, with breakfast they serve you a menu, asking you to choose which options you would like for your 2 course lunch and 3 course dinner. The locals who work at the island are truly incredible, they are not... More

We just returned from a much too short 5 day stay at beautiful Bokissa Island. We flew direct from Brisbane to Espiritu Santo (only flies direct on Tuesdays otherwise you need a stopover in Port Vila for a connecting flight). If you go direct from Brisbane it is only 2 1/2 hours. Brilliant. I found Bokissa on Tripadvisor and having... More

What a treat to find a place where you can totally relax and be yourself, in the company of like-minded people. My husband and I loved everything about Bokissa. It is so easy to snorkel off the beach, or do interesting trips to the Malo River, the Coolidge dive and Million Dollar Point. The locals are lovely and nothing is... More

We had a lovely time here. The burees were well designed and the beds were comfortable, though I did think that the colourful accessories such as the shower curtains and some linen would look better in more subdued tones. Air conditioning came on from 8pm til 6am but was a bit too noisy, though it would be appreciated during hot... More
