Recently back from 6 nights at Bokissa Island, and I am having trouble deciding what I miss most. The food is incredible, with breakfast they serve you a menu, asking you to choose which options you would like for your 2 course lunch and 3 course dinner. The locals who work at the island are truly incredible, they are not... More

We just returned from a much too short 5 day stay at beautiful Bokissa Island. We flew direct from Brisbane to Espiritu Santo (only flies direct on Tuesdays otherwise you need a stopover in Port Vila for a connecting flight). If you go direct from Brisbane it is only 2 1/2 hours. Brilliant. I found Bokissa on Tripadvisor and having... More

What a treat to find a place where you can totally relax and be yourself, in the company of like-minded people. My husband and I loved everything about Bokissa. It is so easy to snorkel off the beach, or do interesting trips to the Malo River, the Coolidge dive and Million Dollar Point. The locals are lovely and nothing is... More

We had a lovely time here. The burees were well designed and the beds were comfortable, though I did think that the colourful accessories such as the shower curtains and some linen would look better in more subdued tones. Air conditioning came on from 8pm til 6am but was a bit too noisy, though it would be appreciated during hot... More

This was our third visit to Bokissa & we just keep returning! My brother & his wife came with us this year & absolutely loved it! We stayed 9 nights, did the Malo River kayaking trip & snorkelled every day. We always stay in the same fare, which is quite comfortable & a ten metre walk over grass to the... More

My biggest compliments go to the staff of this little paradise who are all local islanders working the resort. The food was always fantastic, always so fresh, and the small number of visitors it accommodates is perfect! If your preference is a big Sheraton Hotel then don't come here. This is a place for those seeking smaller boutique style accommodation.... More

We stayed for 3 nights as the first part of a first trip to Vanuatu. I travelled with my wife and 2 adult children. We stayed in 2 separate bures right near the ocean (11 & 13). A great spot to relax and snorkel or use a sea kayak. We took the Malo Island trip and visited a blue hole... More

We have just returned from an amazing honeymoon at Bokissa Island Resort. It was everything we wanted in a honeymoon and a great break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We spent 5 nights there, and would have loved to stay longer but we opted for 5 nights so that we could have direct flights from Brisbane to... More

My partner and I stayed on Bokissa for 8 nights recently and it was everything we'd hoped for. Diving was amazing, as was the snorkeling. You can do as much or as little as you want. I did a combination of both and came home totally relaxed and nicely tanned! Staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful, nothing is too... More

I just had a great 5 days here with my wife and we generally enjoyed the experience. Did some excellent dives with the Bokissa dive masters and particularly enjoyed the Henry Bonneaud wreck as both a day and a night dive. The island also offers an enjoyable bush walk around its perimeter and allow 45 minutes minimum to do it.... More

Thanks for your response and glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and diving - it really is a special, beautiful place isn't it? Just to touch on your comments re checking out/your account etc. Bokissa does have a sign up and definately prefer if people who are leaving early check out and settle their account the day before departure...
