What can I say- Turtle Bay Resort was exactly what I'd hoped for when I envisioned my holiday to Vanuatu! Kenneth the driver (in his fancy new Hilux!) greeted me at the airport with an upside down sign and we laughed the whole way to the resort (half hour out of Luganville). The owner Matt ran out from the circus... more

I travelled to turtle island with my girlfriend in April 09. The hosts of this place really make you feel at home. It is a small resort, and you really get to know the staff and other guests. Everything is relaxed and pleasant. The owner, Matt, really goes out of his way to make your stay a good one. One... more

My sister and I stayed at Matt and Patricias Turtle Bay Resort....We had an absolute blast and this would be mainly because of the owners and the staff...I really felt to be made at home and did not wish to spend hols in our rooms...but if we weren't out exploring we would hang with the other likeminded guests in the... more

After an exhausting travel period in Australia, it was fantastic to arrive Espiritu Santo and enter this red car, which friendly Kenneth was driving. We were taken to our paradise, where Matt and Patricia welcomed us and the holiday without any rush and panic had finally started. We went kayaking and visited fantastic Blue Hole, the refreshing "natural swimming pool",... more

Turtle Bay Resort was awesome, loved our time there, the resort, staff & owner were all fabulous. Food was great. Snorkelled the backyard coral reef, swam, kayaked to the blue holes, walked to the neighbouring islands, managed a little chilling - should have spent more time there - nxt time. Thanks guys you all rocked. more

Where do I start.........my partner and I were looking for a tropical getaway to spend a couple of weeks at with no mobile phones, good service (but not intrusive) idillic scenery and all the other things you would expect from a tropical resort. Well Turtle Bay exceeded all of our expectations!! Patricia our host was welcoming, accommodating and her staff... more

Espiritu Santo is the largest island in the Archipelago of Vanuatu. The roads are mostly unsurfaced and are very rough. It is slow going for those who want to visit the famous beaches and geological wonders of the north-east region. The best plan is to choose some accommodation in the area and make day trips to the chosen beauty spots.... more

“A very special place” We loved Turtle Bay Resort. My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Turtle Bay Resort and we absolutely loved it! The rooms were big and really nice and the beds were ‘super’ comfortable. The resorts grounds and the view of the bay were truly spectacular. All the staff was so helpful to us; Martha, and the... more
