With a small group of 5 stayed at LBH for 6 nights in Blue & Green Houses. The stay were comfortable & very relaxing. We were sitting outside the hut & enjoying the sea breeze after all the daily activities. No mosquito at all!! The kitchen was well equipped. We bought seafood & food from the market & we cooked... We stayed here for two nights & expected the usual Tongan night noises of the roosters and dogs but to our surprise it was quiet & peaceful! Great to recharge the batteries. We stayed in the green house and although small had everything you needed. Shower was fantastic as were the free kayaks that gave us freedom to explore the... More

These beach houses are situated on the southern side of the island ,this year the south easterly wind blue colder than usual. But it was still relaxing. The accomidation was clean and comfortable, the owners very accomidating in every way. Dinner could be ordered and were very nice meals 3 coarse for 40TOP. If the weather wasn't so cold this... More

I stayed in the beach fale. It was dirty with draughty damp interior and bats in the awnings. The bed was a wooden board with damp flat cheap mattress and stale sheets. The mosquito net was not fit for purpose with man holes. The showers were a trickle of cold water with the 'pump' on. Not worth wasting precious holiday time... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us at Lucky's Beach Houses. We are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay with us. The Traditional Fale you stayed in admittedly is not for everyone. It is constructed of sticks and Palm leaves by the people of our village. It is meant for people wishing to experience what... More

We stayed at Lucky's for six nights in the small fale and absolutely enjoyed it. Lynn and Kurt were VERY helpful with everything we needed (and even with things we didn't asked for). Beach is beautiful and water is incredibly clear, you can explore neighbourhood on kayaks or spend your lazy days snorkeling. If you just want to relax on... More

My partner and I stayed in the traditional fale for seven nights. Lynn and Kurt are knowledgeable hosts and generous with their time for us and our many questions about life in Tonga, their village (Lucky’s is about a 20 minutes drive from Neifau, 30 TOP taxi), and the activities we could get up to (whale watching, kart safaris, the... We were in the green house which is like a little cottage. It is ten feet from the beach and allows you to cater to yourself (although I would get a few of Lynn's dinners as the portions were sizeable and quite delicious). Spent the week enjoying the sun, walking around te small viagr close by and snorkelling.

Kurt and Lynn are phenomenal hosts. The accommodations are cute and clean. We stayed in the traditional style Fale which had a breath taking view and was an experience itself. Don't wait until the last day as we did to enjoy Lynn's cooking - she is an incredible cook. The property is located a little ways from town, however Lynn... More

We spent 5 nights in the blue house and found it to be very pleasant. The towels and kitchen utensils were very old but it was clean. Kurt and Lyn were very accommodating and we had a few meals cooked by Lyn. It would be lovely if they could offer beer and wine too as there are no shops nearby.... More
