In mid-May my girlfriend and I traveled from the US via Delta Airlines, from Philadelphia to Atlanta to Bogota, staying overnight at the convenient Hotel Habitel, near the airport (see my review). As a note, as other travelers have commented, although we had our updated immunizations, yellow fever and tetanus, no one specifically asked to see our yellow card, but... More

This is the best hotel in Leticia. The rooms are cabins with 2 king sized beds surrounding a large pool that is kept spotless. The rooms are sprayed each day to minimize the insects, and the rooms are very clean. Evening entertainment is provided, when we were there, a shaman and Brazilian samba dancers were performing. Restaurant is great with... More

This Hotel is spotless. All rooms are cabins with 2 king beds, and a porch complete with hammock. The Restaurant is superb with a great menu and amazing tropical fruit juices. The rooms come complete with 2 king sized beds, and a porch with sofa and hammock. In the evenings they provide entertainment such as a shaman, or Brazilian samba... More

This hotel is a Perfect Place for trips in the rain forest and on the Amazonas. Centrally placed in Leticia, With walking distance to the river where the small touring boats lie, and the rest of the city. Even walking distance to Brazil/ Tabatinga for those who wish to go there (nothing much to see). The hotel has its own... More

As others have noted, there is no luxury hotel in Leticia, but this is an amazing place with 28 separate units surrounding a lovely pool and bar area. This resort is better than a couple of others we looked at when we were in Leticia. My adult daughter and I traveled to Leticia and we were not disappointed with this... More

The Decameron is not a luxury hotel. Having said that, there are no luxury hotels in Leticia and the Decameron at least offers a number of amenities that a luxury hotel would offer. Most importantly the rooms are large, clean and - indispensably - air conditioned. Returning to our room from the heat and humidity that is the Amazon was... More

My mom and I were on vacation in Leticia for a couple days on our 10-day Colombia trip. First, Leticia is an amazing place! I am not an 'outdoors-y' person and I absolutely loved it there! Second - this hotel is fabulous! i am a very picky traveler and I was very impressed with this hotel. The people were so... More

I went with my family to Leticia to discover the Amazon. I selected this hotel due to its location and facilities. This hotel is the most expensive in Leticia but offers big rooms with AC, small bar, pool and a great service. The staff is very friendly and tried to accommodate all type of requests. The garden has beautiful native... More

A gem in the city of Leticia. Great food and accommodations! The staff was friendly and attended to our every need. A very modern hotel and well run. They had gret activities that showed the Amazon at its finest.

It is a great hotel if you are looking for comfort in this trip to the jungle and if you are taking only day tours. The service is very good and also food. Rooms are comfortable with air conditionning, hammock and tv. Wi-fi is difficult. Pool is nice. Hotel tours are okay but very expensive. We only stayed at the... More
