Stayed in Yoi Eco lodge for 5 days. We were guided by Julian, lovely and very knowledgeable guy. He is a biologist so he knows lots of species of birds , insects etc. it was a great experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is willing to explore nature sacrificing some comfort

My experience at Yoi EcoLodge was even more than I was hoping for! Agusto and Maria and their family run the lodge and very quickly made us feel like part of the family, despite language differences. Rey, our guide and Eliseo, our translator were both remarkable and ensured that we learned a lot and had lots of fun. LOCATION: the... More

A remote yet comfortable lodging with fantastic staff who are all connected to the closest village and are very knowledgeable about the area. The food was prepared excellently; all trips were planned perfectly after many options were laid out for us. We don't feel we could have had a better experience in the Amazon just about any way you slice... More

For my husband and I it was our 4th time to the Amazon, each visit to different Eco Lodges from different South American countries, and each providing a different and unique experience. Our 4 night stay at Yoi (in Aug this year) didn't disappoint, and only reinforced our fascination and wonder experienced visiting this remarkable and remote part of the... More

It was hard to obtain good information on the web for a good Amazon jungle experience. We were fortunate to find Yoi EcoLodge. From the moment he picked us up at the airport to the moment he dropped us at a B&B in Leticia at the end of our trip, Julian did a fantastic job with his expertise, his knowledge,... More

The amazing amazon/amacayacu experience (this lodge is in the Amacayacu National Park, owned by the natives) When we arrived at Leticia, neither my wife nor I knew what to expect. We had brought ourselves to the Amazon based on some romantic notion of the virgin forests. My wife was a part-time birder. Julian met us at the airport. Another couple... More

Trip Advisor asks "Is this hotel near the city center?" Umm, no. In fact, it's roughly as far from the city center as you can realistically go during a 10 day trip to Colombia. And that's a wonderful thing. Yoi is nestled in the Amazon rainforest far up a tributary, away from the main river. Once you get there, Yoi... More

The yoieclodge and tour was a wonderfull experience. Thanks to the organisattion ( Julian) and the experienced guides we had 5 great days in the Amazopn far away form "civilization". The different tour possibilities are crafted to your likeness and we did have some great tours with lokal guides to find the grey and finally also the pink delphins. Also... More

Yoi ha been One of the best experiences in my life. Julián, don Augusto, doña María, Reinaldo, Javier, Eliseo and all the people of the Ticuna comunity that works there make tour stay magic and unfforgetable. The lodge is amazingly ubicated in the middle of the jungle, food is delicius, environment is lovely and magic is all around you.

I visited Yoi Eco Lodge with my family and a friend from school and his parents. I'm Simon and I'm 11 years old from Scotland. We did lots of amazing activities like night walks, canoeing and fishing. We saw pink river dolphins and grey dolphins, swam in the river and lakes and visited a monkey sanctuary. Jackson was our boatman.... More
