My husband and I decided to stay somewhere a little nicer as it was our last night in Bolivia and we had been "roughing it" in the jungle for a few nights prior as well as an overnight bus from La Paz the night before. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and thought our room was fantastic, everything... More

Can't beat the location though remote & 4 km distance from the salt flats themselves. However it is on a raised hill & has a great view. Construction & decor/ furnishings are fantastic however only one fire was lit in reception which made the rest a bit cold ( in March) Room was comfortable but we had two glasses in... More

This place is incredible. I suggest that if you want to have the reflections on the salt lakes then go in the wet months like jan and feb. I went in September and it was literally the best trip. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were amazing! The structure of the hotel is absolutely extraordinary and my... More

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Luna Salada and it was magnificent! We arrived late at night and we were kindly received by the hotel staff. Our room had an amazing view of the salt flats, a breathtaking sight to say the least. Later on the next day we had a beautifully relaxing day enjoying the gorgeous views of... More

We stayed one night after having crossed through the Eduardo Avaroa National Park & Salar de Uyuni & it was great to be able to relax in a spacious room after all the travel. The room/suite we had was right at the top of the hotel & unlike the smaller rooms downstairs it did not have a salt floor. The... More

If you consider the average level of attention and quality in Bolivia hotels, then Luna Salada is top- top level. Location, location I agree but the big difference here is the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful. I have been in this hotel three times now for work and my clients are always very happy in this hotel, especially... More

We stayed for a night before our trip over the Salt Flats to San Pedro. On arrival our room wasn't ready and we were asked to wait "a few minutes" in reception. After 20 minutes we asked when our room may be ready and were told " just a few minutes". We waited again, after another 15 minutes or so... More

This is the best hotel we stayed during our trip 4 days trip to Salar de Uyuni. This hotel claimed to be made of salt bricks. However, the exterior is made of red bricks, and the interior is made of salt. This hotel is in the middle of no where, and required 1 hour drive from the town Uyuni. Rooms... More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights whilst we visited the salt flats. Initially we were impressed by the hotel and loved the way the salt was used throughout..even on the floors in the rooms. It was a fun experience with fantastic views. However we were extremely disappointed with the customer service considering the price. The reception staff were grumpy,... More
