Uyuni is a really small place and for any traveller usually only a stopover before or after a salt flats tour or further travel in Bolivia. The Hostel is located close to a couple of reasonable places to eat, with cheap food and drink. The beds in the hostel itself were incredibly comfortable and the showers were the first hot... More

- USD$36 per night for ensuite room - No hairdryer provided - See pictures attached regarding all the the outlook of the hostel and curfews, DOs and DON'T after-hours in the hostel. - Only reason we booked in here was the location because it is just opposite the train station. - We really pity the backpackers who booked in the... More tips and reviews at www.takemeshowmetelme.com This was their description of their hostel, “One hundred years old house adapted to make your visit comfortable and really fun. Beautiful and cozy, you will find an excelent service and all you need to have a wonderful time.” Well the house is old, but there was nothing fun, beautiful or cozy about the... More

We stayed in a double room with bathroom, which came with a small radiator. The radiator was not really sufficient considering how cold it was outside. The staff were very helpful but not exactly friendly, and the location is very convenient. Uyuni is not cheap compared to the rest of Bolivia, and while thus place is ok it is definitely... More

this hostel was awesome. we stayed in a double bed room- big, comfortable, warm and clean. showers were hot. tonnes of space to lounge around indoor and outdoor. great location. if you have a late check out (because your bus leaves in the evening) they will charge you 1/2 day.

we loved our spacious twin room with heating and clean shared bathroom. you will wish tough for more hooks to hang stuff as well as a better kitchen. it only is a smallish tunnel with seriously NO equipment. not even a fridge!!! a hostel should do better here, i think.

The hostel itself is very basic and not very cosy. Staff is ok. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom, which was clean but a little mouldy and not too bright. No heating in the rooms, but good hot showers! We had enough blankets to keep us warm, and you could ask for extra at no extra charge.... More

A great place to prepare and plan for a trip to the salt flats. Comfortable private room with heater and lots of blankets. Clean bathrooms Really hot showers and decent wifi. The breakfast was good and the kitchen/common areas cosy and nice. The staff were friendly and very efficient so everything is easy. There's probably not much reason to stay... More

We spent a night here after a 4 day salt flats tour. Only a short walk from the main buses that run in and out of town. Perfect for what we needed, friendly staff, decent internet, breakfast included, close to restaurants but most importantly HOT WATER in the showers!

We only stayed here for a couple of hours - we paid 20B to have a hot shower and use the wi-fi and other hostel services between finishing a Uyuni tour and catching a night bus to La Paz. Showers were powerful and hot and we the wi-fi was decent. We also managed to charge our mobile phones and could... More
